INTRODUCTION
In current, market there are different health and social issues which arise among people
and they have to take proper actions to deal with it. In order to access changes in health and care
sector, there is proper requirement of understanding about external market. There is complete
and specific knowledge which is faced by people of society (Cheers, 2019). Contemporary issues
the problem which is faced by individuals in current market, so it is important to take actions to
deal with it. In order to access changes which are specific and relevant because with it, it is
corrective actions can be taken. In this report, there is discussion about Female Genital
Mutilation which is one of the major issue arise among people and due to this, there are many
health issues which arise among people. In this report, there is discussion about information

There are different issues which arise because of Female Genital Mutilation and these are the
activities which are performed by people who belongs to lower class. This is the practices
which is performed in order to check virginity and indicating about completion of adolescence.
This is the practices which is performed because of some traditional thoughts among people and

changes for which they are not getting proper understanding. There is discussion about urinary
infection which is caused due to Female Genital Mutilation and sometimes women may lead to
death. In order to reduce such practices and avoid ill- effects from this, there is important role of
awareness through media sources. With the help of using different media for communicating
with people, it is easy to change their perceptions and behavior. For instance: there are
awareness program under government norms and orders, then it is easy to aware young
generation and they will stand in against of it by communicating about issues to them.
When there is advertisement in newspaper and television, then old age people will also aware
about urinary infection and their will change in their behavior as well. People have attitude that
Female Genital Mutilation practice is performed to check virginity, but with media
advertisement, it will be clear to people that this is myth which cause major health issues to
women and gives negative impact on their fertility as well. In order to target young generation,
advertisement in theaters and social media platforms are the best way because theses are the
ways where majority of individuals are young. Hence it is clear that with the help of media
platform, it is easy for targeting. If there is change in attitude and behavior of young generation,
then ill- effect of Female Genital Mutilation from societal point of view can be reduced.
There are many information which is available on online sites, website, newspaper, etc. about
Female Genital Mutilation, then question arises about reliability and validity. But this
information reliable and valid because this is the information which is collected by authentic
body and under inspection. In order to access reliability on social media, information or data
which is available on authentic website must be considered. Apart from this, there are some
research paper which discuss about such issues also contains some data, these pages and sites
must be properly dated and authentic. In order to use some information or consider it as
authentic, individuals must consider that this page is relevant for present market.
There is difference in perception of individuals, so some times information may get paraphrased

There are different changes which are taking place in market with difference in level of
thinking of people. Health issues arise because of Female Genital Mutilation give rise to
different problems and which are effective and relevant in context of external market (Cherry
and Jacob, 2016). These are the practices which is performed in local remote areas and this
affects performance of individuals in negative manner. When people at local level favors such
practices, then this gives negative impact on national level as well. For instance: people at village
and remote areas follows such practices, then this gives impact on national level as people. There
are some people who does not have complete knowledge about medical facilities provided by
health care organizations and they perform actions as per their own perception. Due to such
mentality, there is impact on services offered by doctors.
There are many parts in UK which is slum and not fully furnished with medical services,
hence people residing in this area does not get proper advise from doctors. Due to improper
understanding about changes in body and medial perception, it gives negative perception on
national level as well. If local level of UK is not properly updated and educated, then it affects
image on national level as well (Evans, 2016). For instance: there is increment in women patient
due to urinary infection, uterus cancer, etc. due to Female Genital Mutilation, then this affects
census of overall UK. Hence it is clear that local level information affects and reflects situation
of whole nation.

There are some reactions from people which they analyse with understanding

conferences, when girls came to know about changes which acquire in their body, the they are
ready to protest against this practices. Hence it is clear that there is positive change in people's
attitude and they are against all these aspect as well (Ferlie and Ongaro, 2015). When women get
to know that due to Female Genital Mutilation practice there is urinary infection which effects
female's reproduction, then they prospect for their daughters. Information which is presented at
website and official government site is authentic and relevant, so people rely on it. There are
some policies which are framed by government for improving condition of women and reduces
possibilities of major health issues.
Q12 Possible consequences of contemporary thinking for health and social care provision and
services
With consideration to contemporary health issue i.e. urinary infection which is caused
due to Female Genital Mutilation there are some consequences due to which people are forced to
avoid this practice. There are different health and social care organization which organize
programs for people to create awareness among them. With awareness program to women, there
will positive impact on their behavior that they avoid use of such practices (Hope Sr, 2016).
People residing in rural and remote areas, does not get proper health care services due to which
they are not able to know ways through which they can deal with it. People have poor living
standard due to which they can not get proper medical facilities and they are not able to
understand about problems which arise to them. There are possibilities that if people remain
performing these activities, then there are many issues which might arise such as cancer,
infection in kidney, etc.
People residing in local areas are not using proper treatment and they follow their
traditional and orthodox activities which gives negative impact on their health. Due to increment
in illiteracy rate among people, they are not able to understand changes which are taking place.
Lower income people usually visit and admitted in government health care organizations, so in
this case management of hospitals must communicate properly through which they does not
perform these activities because this is dangerous to life of individuals as well. With creating
awareness among people about ill- effects of Female Genital Mutilation such as urinary

infection, and promote them to use modern treatment under doctor's prescription (Jupp, 2016).
There is requirement of creating awareness among people under which positive aspects have to
be discussed and health issues which they face because of improper medical treatment.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it is analysed that there is complete and specific
information with Female Genital Mutilation through which issues faced by women are studied.
There are different techniques with the help of which information can be communicated to
individuals such as television advertisement, newspaper, banners, etc. There is change in
perception of workers such as health issues which is faced by women and actions which has to
be taken. With passage of time, there will increment in knowledge of people through awareness
programs and data available with doctors. In order to access data provide by media is relevant,
people can access source from which it is available. There is difference in perception of people
about issues which is faced by women. There are some changes in attitude of people regarding
urinary infection which is caused due to Female Genital Mutilation among women. There are
some consequences such as negative impact on reproduction issues, cancer, etc. to women and
this is major cause of decline in health of future generation. As per my view, there must be
awareness among people about Female Genital Mutilation through awareness campaigns and
school program so females will get to know about negative aspects which might arise because of
it. This is easy method to target females and motivate them to avoid such activities, so their
upcoming generation will become healthy and people does not get affected with it.
