INTRODUCTION
At present world, modern-day issues in society and health care are very important to
know about their disadvantage for all humans because its directly influence the public in society.
At present scenario, social media has played a crucial role in the development of health and
social care in UK. Wherein, health care issues includes in various issues like high blood pressure,
diabetes and so on. In today's lifestyle people and children are more focusing on the junk food,
fast food and oily food ect. So that this type of food affects the human bodies and also minimise
the energy of people. Therefore, health and social issues directly affects the children and
youngsters so that , they faces many problems related to their health. This present report is based
on NHS organisation which was established in 1948 as one of the best national health services.
This concept offers several kind of services or safeguarding or child protection for nurses in a
effective way. Along with this, report will going to be discussed about the health and social care
issues with various method or techniques in a different ways. Issues of public concern and
various ways of research or issues relating to social and health care issues will be discussed. At
last, possible consequences of contemporary thinking for health and social issues will get
covered.

1.1 Information related to health and social care reaches the public domain.
In this, different types of health related issues which defines the people's lifestyle and their daily
routine that heavily influence their health problems. Children abuse is a very huge problem in the
modern world. This issues heavily effects the people and can create big problem in their life.
Wherein, social care also become a large issue at present time that creates the risk which
minimises people's working energy in a negative manner. There are some benefits, which are
given below:
Improve outcomes of medications: It refers to the medication activity which provide
proper relax in human body. For the children abuse person it is a good option that affects
positively, so that effective clinical practices by medical professionals about diabetes will
encourage the people in order to take effective decision. It will also provide full support which
increases the results of medication and patient will get relief from this diabetes problem in a
effective manner.

Reduce risk of complications: In this, children abuse concepts government should
facilitate to take needed precautions on everyday basis including in the use of good things that
should adopted by people and also behave good in the society. That concept can give lot of relax
to humans in a effective manner. (Best, 2017).
1.2 media used to disseminate relating to health issue.
There is different types of media sources that can be used to define the correct
information about child abuse among individuals so through this they will become more aware
about negative impacts. These methods are very well known which are helpful in order to
provide required information about child abuse, so that they can ignore the negative feelings
from humans and able to take precautions. Along with this children who are suffering from this
problem so that they can be protracted by government. There are some type of sources of media,
which are given below:
Television advertisement: It encourages the people in order to focus child abusing
problem that's why it is very helpful process that adopt physical work out which helps in gaining
extra calories for reducing children's abuse problems. In context of this children's abuse people
can take efficient decision regarding their maintain this problem.
Banners or leaflets: It involves in making good decision related children abuse which
normally influence the people in order to make free society or place.
Radio broadcast: It refereed the term of radio broadcasting that is helpful for motivation
people and reduce the crime. This channel is beneficial because its provide good aid or
information about child abuse including in physical abuse, sexual abuse and so on. Therefore
people should focus on these aids and follow their instructions by ignoring these unnecessarily
crimes in an appropriate manner. (Cherry and Jacob, 2016).
1.3 Different ways of relevant information influences attitudes, thoughts and behaviour.
In context of NHS organisation there are various people with different nature who are
living in one country of economy. It involves in different methods which offers lot of support to
affects thoughts, attitudes and behaviour. Therefore, NHS includes in various services which is
good for children or youngsters health (Coreil, 2010). This organisation also complete the people's
demand in order to provide good quality of food, reduced issues of children abuse problems
which influences the people's attitude, thought and behaviour in a effective way. There are few
ways of accurate information:

 Firstly, this organisation provide different aids on television which increase the
knowledge of people in a right way.
 This involves in broadcasting news which also covers the lot of people in order to
transfer relevant information about reducing the diabetes issues.
 This system also influences the people through short video programmes that are
based upon the diabetes issues.
 Moreover, children's abuse can be also reduced by the perfect information
through displaying the aid in cinema, drama hall in which people can understand
the issues in order to reduce side effects of diabetes.
 Furthermore, placing aid, banners, hoardings on public place so that it can
influence people in order to stop unhealthy food and follow good habits (Evans,
2016).
Therefore, these are the several ways which is followed by the organisation in order to
safe children from every issues in the world. Through this strategy people can aware and also
able to stop child abuse issues in the proper way, so that this strategy is very necessary for everty
human life in an effective manner.

2.1 Ways in which media can be used to influence behaviour and attitude of people towards
health as well as social care issues.
It can be utilized by different organisations by which they can deliver their ideas and
make them realise reason behind change in behaviour which have already occurred. By this
people can motivate people by creating awareness among them related with serious issues of
child abuse (Fargas-Malet and Robinson, 2010). But way in which media depicts that information is
essential as this will only create a influence or impact on minds of people. Some of ways of
depicting information are mentioned below:
Social media: By usage of social media most of the problems can be resolved and reason
behind this is that people are more addicted to social media in this technology world.
Organisations such as NHS can make their pages on social media and discuss about what
problems are faced by children in this present scenario. Like an example can be taken to
understand this concept. NHS can post videos on social media related with Momo challenge so

that various people can get to know about this and what problems children face in this challenge.
This will create awareness among people. Momo challenge was spread on Facebook and was
reported by children themselves. In this, children were forced to perform dangerous tasks like
harming themselves, suicide and violent attack. Apart from physical pain they also have to bear
mental torture. Suppose if there were no social media then it would have been difficult for people
to know about this all. In same way way if same platform is used to educate people then by
uploading videos, messages then definitely there will be some change in conditions which child
is going through.
Micro blogging: It refers to online broadcast medium which exists in a particular form of
blogging. These blogs allow individual to transfer small contents like individual images, short
sentences or they can be video links. They are known as microposts. These blogs can range from
simple topics to current issues (Gilbert, Parton and Skivenes, 2011). NHS can make use of this
blogs to make people realise what a child is going through. If a child is abused then it creates
impact on their minds for longer duration of time. Again an example can be considered in this
aspect, there have been continuous increase knife crime offences. In 2018, it has been observed
within UK that there have been around 39818 crimes and from 2014 there has been two-third of
increase, it was highest with respect to previous year.

Above both figure depicts number of knife offences but this was not as strange as that in
theses cases around 21,381 people were convicted and cautioned for possessing knife in England
and out of these nearby 4,459 were under 18 years and maximum were of 8 years. Isn't is
strange. Micro blogs must contain details about this that what made a 8 year old kid to possess
knife, why they required it. This are some issues which must be raised by NHS in their micro
blogs.
2.2 Evaluation of how public can assess validity and reliability of media information related with
health and social care.
Reliability refers to accuracy and validity of information. Health care professionals
provide education and data to public by usage of assorted media, it is essential that this data must
be up to date and reliable (Gilbert and Powell, 2010). For this health information providers must
follow certain rules and regulation by which they can make this process more validated. Media
always do not provide informative and educative content but sometimes it creates stereotypes
and panic within society, which makes it essential for people to evaluate principles of liability so
that they can validate information before it is being believed. Reliability is defined as how
trustworthy, dependable and responsible media sources are with respect to information which is

factually or logically correct and is considered as more valid. Media can play advocacy role by
exchanging focus related with health issues to policy makers from individuals whose decisions
can create strong strong impact on budget and health policy programmes. Information must be
transparent that means, information which media has must be provided to people so that they can
get knowledge related with every aspect. Furthermore, it must valid as well as reliable so that
people can rely and believe that this has happened or this is possible.
New media have a wide reach and posses high credibility due to which they are widely
acknowledged by people. With respect to health and social care, media can create a strong
impact on knowledge, practitioners and attitudes. Journalism have their own set of parameters
and needs. Audiences or readers needs to keep in mind that journalist are interested in stories
which can create headline. But it is not necessary that they will be in relation to actual health
issues. The health and social care units must impart information to society which is relevant and
important to population. But often it has been observed that spokesperson who communicate
with media have to face certain disadvantages. If they give good news then people do not believe
it most of the times.
It is necessary that interaction between media is transparent and clear so that people can
believe what they are being told (Harding, 2014). It is necessary that relationship between
journalist and health ministry must be transparent and clear by which people can believe them.
Again consider an example suppose Momo challenge did not occurred and it was reported by
any journalist, there is no point to believe on media then if it has not occurred even if some
serious crime have occurred than also people will not believe it. Similarly if real news is shown
then people will be educated and they will know how to deal with specific situation, this will
build trust between them and people will opt to listen to news so that they can know about
different issues which have been occurring around the world.
3.1 Research different perspectives related with specific issues in health and social care.
At this present scenario health issues have became more complex and many of them are
related with negative behaviour of others which disturbs mental state of individual. Issues related
with health care have different perspectives and determination of medication is not difficult
when all the aspects related with specific problem are taken into consideration (Harrington, 2013).
In this context issue which is taken into consideration is children abuse. Child abuse refers to
sexual, psychological and physical neglect or maltreatment of child specifically by their parents,

caregiver or guardian (Pringle, 2013). This creates potential harm to child and this can occur
within organisation, communities, school and even at home. To understand perspectives related
with specific issues an example can be considered with respect to child abuse.
Momo challenge is viral game which is shared using messaging services such as
Whatsapp which provoke young children to commit suicide or violence. Devilish bird lady pops
up with creepy commands and messages which escalate intense horror and violence (Best, 2017).
The first victim of this challenge was 12 year old girl from Escobar, Argentina. Girl died in a
suicide which was reported in The Buenos Aires Times reports, she captured herself before
hanging. Two more children died in India. Police suspected that it was a online killer game due
to which they took this step. In this case, what prompted children to take this step, what was the
reason behind this and many more perspectives can be taken into consideration. As per
investigation, it was found that children who show sign of depression were the main targets. In
this challenge focus was on teenagers in which messages were sent to convince people by
contacting them by using their smart phones.
The main reason behind child to accomplish those challenge as if they refuse to do the
tasks then they are being given threats (Loseke, 2017). Perspective of child was to complete a
task, they didn't cared which way they will lead. Another view which can be considered is of
parents as they were not aware of what their child is going through.
3.2 Monitor different perspectives extracted from reliable sources with respect to health and
social
There are different perspectives which comprises of national media, local bodies, service
providers and regulatory bodies which include actions group, practitioners, service users and
local media. These are factors which are participating in society and they put their efforts to
eliminate threat of different situations which can cause child abuse within society (Muskett, 2014).
Child abuse can be in different forms like physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse,
medical abuse and neglect. Most of the times this is caused by one whom child trust the most,
they can be either parents or relative. Child may not be able to speak up with anyone about what
they are going through but through different symptoms, it can be acknowledged like child may
be confused, ashamed or guilty. It can be observed when friends withdraw from activities,
modifications in behaviour (like gets angry, hyperactivity and variations in their performance

within school), depression, usual fears can be taken as symptoms of child abuse. In this context,
there are certain perspectives, they are mentioned below:
Initial perspective includes family of child, it is their responsibility that their child must
be safe from their surroundings. They are the one who can notice change in their child and
accordingly behave with them so that they can share different issues which they are going
through. Another perspective is, society or neighbours, if they feel that particular child is going
through physical abuse or any kind of abuse then they should inform specific authority like NHS
so that they can take child into their custody and investigate the entire matter. Another
perspective is of child themselves, whether they want to get out of that and have a normal life. It
is not easy for a child to react to such situations as they themselves may not know what they are
going through and to respond to such situations may become difficult for them as they are
children (Øverlien, 2010). It becomes difficult for adults or any age group to come out of any
difficult situation then it can be considered as almost impossible to get out of this situation. It is
responsibility of family to take their child out of such kind of situations if reason behind abuse is
someone else. It is responsibility of society to help them to get out of this by informing about
situations to respective authority. This will help child to get out of worst situation and lead a
normal life
3.3 Assess relevance of findings to health and social care practices locally.
Different perspectives have been analysed above with respect to child abuse. Different
issues have been occurred in past and everyone have their perspectives related with them. These
perspectives may vary but problem is still same. Child is abused mentally, physically and
emotionally but no one asks them what they are going through even no one sees that, it’s just
their own benefits, which they receive by hurting child (Payne and Askeland, 2016). Consider an
example of child labour, child is made to work due to poor family conditions or to earn a bread.
Policies have been formulated by which child can have all the essential requirements. Problems
are not decreasing; in fact they are going to increase with passage of time.
Government can make policies but it’s not possible to keep on check everyday that which
child is going through what, it is responsibility of family to make sure that their child is happy
and leading a normal life. If it is not so then, they need to know what they are going through and
still they are unable to find reason behind this then there are number of social care agencies like
NHS who work for good of society. Moreover if child is going through any kind of problem and

their family is reason behind this, then society can give them appropriate guidelines so that child
can get some help. And if again situation remains same then they can contact with authorities
who are responsible for taking care of child. In this modern era, every child is involved in
technology and have their gadgets with them almost all them but it is responsibility of parents to
ensure that what their child is doing in them and why they are spending lots of time in them
rather than playing or studying (Pringle, 2013). Consider an example of knife offences which took
place in England and Wales, most of them were kids who possessed knife with them. More
strange was that they were kid of eight year. What made them to do this; there are still some
questions which needs to be answered. No one can know a child more than their family can
know. It is necessary to provide them with environment where they can open up with what they
are going through, this will assist them to share their happiness and pain with their family
members. Furthermore, government should make strict policies to ensure that any child should
not face any problem for their survival for which they have to do certain things which are not
ethical.
3.4 Analyse factors which influence development of various perspectives.
There are various perspectives related with health and social care context which have been
involved with advancement in this section. Issue which is taken into account is child abuse and
its social aspects. Considering social facts, it is essential for them to consider safety of child at
top most priority. With time there has been significant improvement but can’t be sure about this,
however in some perspectives relative with children there has been some improvisation (Pugh
and Duffy, 2013). Child abuse is faced from many years earlier it was in terms of child labour, still
now it exists but at present scenario child is more abused due to torture which is made by family,
education or society. Consider an example of Momo challenge which took lives of children, they
faced lots of threats due to which they harmed themselves. Reason behind this was not known
but still health and social care organisations took necessary steps and other authorities. They
helped them to get out of this mental torture and assisted them to interact with parents if they are
going through any kind of pain or problem. Problems related with children were not known in
previous times as parents can't analyse why child is crying or through what they are going
through. In many cases if parents come to know then they try hide that thing and tell their kid to
shut their mouth. Moreover, if a child is sexually abused then they commit suicide. But with
passage of time, people have become more aware about all these things as people are highly

educated and newspaper, television, social media, etc. provide wide range of information with
respect to this section. By this child can open up about their problems and parents stands beside
them to fight over this.
Development of rules, policies and regulations have played vital role to change
perspectives of parents and society. There has been upgradation in rules and regulations to
minimise problems of children. Development in health and social care sector has also been
improvised which assisted them to help the children out to share the problems which they are
going through, this assisted child to talk about their problems. Local change in perspectives of
issues related with health and social care has lead to global alterations in this sector in
affirmative way (Reder and Duncan, 2013).
4.1 Analyse the extent to which local attitudes reflect those found at national level.
There are different types of local market which affects the economy and create some
problems in international market. The health issues of children abuse can be described as the
most important problem worldwide, because of every person is suffered from this problem as the
same manner (Reeves and Zwarenstein, 2011). Furthermore, there are some reason behind the
diabetes in people or youngsters, that identified the various reason like children abuses, lack of
understanding in people, genetic inheritance and so on. Along with this concept, it has been
concluded that, people has their own chosen lifestyle in which they have unhealthy work balance
like lot of work pressure etc. so that their metabolism is increase regularly because of they are
not able to burn calories which they have gained by eating food items daily such as junk food,
fast food and so on.
The daily habits in local region of individuals influence the whole economy in order to
develop health issues including diabetes. It includes in new trends in which people follow the
different trends of eating fast food like pasta, burger, pizza and so on so that people are
consuming this type of food daily and which is not good for health that involves in less nutrient
or high calories. That's why it is not easy for every people to change their routine in order to
reduce this problem (Reupert, Mayber and Kowalenko, 2013). Furthermore, this unhealthy fat
increase lots of issues in children's and elders body in a effective manner. Therefore, these all
issues are responsible to develop bad hormones in human bodies which always create the cause
of diabetes. Therefore, due to busy life style people are busy and they are not able to focus on
their food items but this health saver problem saves the people globally.

4.2 Justification of public attitudes and behaviours in relation to specific issue.
According to this, attitude or behaviours is always depends on the individual's attitude in order to
take appropriate action or decision in an effective manner. In this concept the attitude or
behaviour of people based on child abused issues in which few are much careful or implement
their innovate idea in order to reduce these kind of problems. But sum people are much not
aware about this situation so that they need to know and should able to understand type of
problems in an effective manner (Rogowski, 2011). That's why this will affect more people for
decreasing this types issues from their society. On the other side, as per the above discussion it
has been analysed that all social media channels are very helpful approach for reducing these
issues and these online channels also can stop child abuse issues. Therefore, government also
plays a vital in this problem for reducing physical abuse, child abused from the world.
On the above chosen problems about children's abuse which is a very big problem at
national level because it covers huge number of children's every year. It created because due to
unhealthy environment, physical activities that develop imbalance hormonal in the human bodies
or in blood. Due to this continuous reason from children's abuse which is very bad problem for
human or children so that people should follow medication way in order to create good hormonal
in their blood and if they are not able to implement on this medication way than Diabetes can
make a very huge issue in every day's life in the form of high blood pressure, obesity and so on.
Therefore, it is also essential for system of rules and national health services that they have to
motivate people for acquiring healthy lifestyle in order to achieve free world in an appropriate
manner (Saks and Allsop, 2012).
4.3 Accomplish consequences of contemporary thinking for health and social care provision &
services.
In this scenario, there is several kinds of difficult conditions which is long-faced by
different people if they will not able to know about child's abuse issues than it can cretae
problem to them. It is necessary for every humans in order to adopt the healthy and good food
environment and also combined them. Accordingly every people should prepare a proper work
diet plan for better health and it is also applicable for children if they are able to do this then they
can automatically reduce the child's abuse problems effectively (Sugaya and et. al, 2012). In
context of this, all people are needed to take protractions quickly because one single mistake can

destroy their plan and heavily impacted of an every people in a negative manner. That's why
people should follow government rules and regulations according to their work schedule for the
better life. On the other side, Children abuse should be stopped by using all government factors
which are very important in order to stop this problem and focuses on their medications or save
their children effectively. Therefore, child abuse is a term when a parent or whether by the action
or falling to act, many causes of injury, death, emotional, risk of serious harm to a child. That's
why government should apply their rules and regulation on the people if they are involving in
this crime than they should be punished by them (Gilbert and Powell, 2010). So that this is the good
idea for stopping children abuse at global level in an appropriate manner. Therefore, child abuse
problems occur when the parent or caregiver are not played their role in order to give action or
falling to act that creates lot of causes like death, injury, emotional harm or risk which is very
much serious harmful impact on the childes.
CONCLUSION
From above it can be concluded that child abuse is a serious problem which must be dealt
with. Child abuse is known as psychological, physical, sexual and maltreatment of children from
their family members, parents, guardians or caregivers. This harms mental state of child and this
can occur at home, school, organisation or society. It is very evident from examples presented
above i.e. Momo challenge, in which child was threatened to do some tasks due to which they
lost their life. Knife offence, in which more number of children was, involved what made them
do this. People have their own perspectives but perspectives of child were never asked. With
passage of time there have been alterations in rules, regulations and policies related with child
abuse though there have been improvements, but still steps are required to deal with these
problems.
