INTRODUCTIONTravel and tourism sector is the part of hospitality industry. Tourism is the concept andactivity of touring of entertaining tourists and business operating tour. Thomas Cook is the touroperator in the UK. It is the world's best travel and tourism company which was started in 1841.In this report, it will explain the different issues of currently changes in travels and tourismsectors, analysis the different issues of using methods and resources. It will analyse anddeveloping the strategies on how to businesses could respond to changes, analysis the impacts ofissues and trends and discuss the consequences of businesses failing to respond to marketchanges on the tourism sectors (Baum, 2015).TASK 11.1 Analysing issues of current driving changes In the travel and tourism sector, there are various issues such as security, health, safety,terrorism and other. In the tourist destination, Costa Rica is the best travel destination and it isestablished of system national parks. Security and Terrorism: In the Costa Rica, they are providing different securityservices such as terrorism, health and safety security. There is no involvement of unofficial taxis,means that there is a particular taxis is hired, who is drop tourist safe and security on the CostaRica. If the visitor are going on destination, so that they should asking the local guides who hasfull experienced for the place. In the destination there are different views such as sea, wildlifeand birds watching. Therefore, in the destination, there is fear of terrorism. So that there is full ofsecurities and guards on the destination (Boniface, Cooper and Cooper, 2016) . Health and safety issues: Thomas Cook is the company who has providing travels andtourism services, so that there is also providing health and safety security during the travels andtour. Therefore, the operators of Thomas Cook is to ensuring for visitor's health and safety.There are different adventures such as rafting, fishing, scuba diving, biking and other sportswhich involves high risk of safety. These are the issues facing by the travelled industries. Travel Services Issues: The tourism sectors are providing better quality services for theirtravellers. On the destination, they are also ensuring that they are increasing the services level forthe visitors. Thomas Cook needs are ensuring that providing better services to the tourists, suchas ticket services and proper guidance related to tour services. The company operators areensuring that all the services level is high, such as rafting, biking and other sports. If the security1
level is high destination and tourism sectors, so that there is no fear of terrorism, health andsafety for the tourist and visitors (Cucculelli and Goffi, 2016). 1.2 Analysing different issues relevant methods and resources.There are many issues such as tourist activities, attractions, visitor’s trends, social andcultures environment in Thomas Cook.Social and Cultures Environment: On the destination, the social and culturesenvironment issues are includes trends, activities, needs and wants. Visitor’s trends and activitiesare impact on the destination. There are different sports such as rafting, biking and scuba divingso that social and cultures environment impact on the destination. Because there are manyvisitors are coming in different cultures and cities so that operators of destination ensuring thatthey are providing better services to the visitors. Visitors activities: There are many visitors are coming on the Costa Rica and they arevarious activities such as rafting, biking, golf and other sports, so that there are doing differentactivities, the operators are ensuring that all the facilities are providing better and proper way tothe visitors. They are providing health and safety services during the sports (Getz and Page, 2016).Visitors Attractions: The destination operators are providing services for visitorsattractions. They are ensuring that many more visitors are attracting for their destination. Theyare ensuring for safety standards level is high so that visitors are more attracting. In theswimming pool and waters sports, they are extra safety care in all the beaches on Costa Rica.Because there is high risk of water and swimming pools activities and sports. There are manyvisitors are enjoying and peaceful in the water sports. They are checking and guarding all thebeaches Visitors activities: There are many visitors are coming on the Costa Rica and they arevarious activities such as rafting, biking, golf and other sports, so that there are doing differentactivities, the operators are ensuring that all the facilities are providing better and proper way tothe visitors. They are providing health and safety services during the sports (Giaoutzi,2017).Visitors Attractions: The destination operators are providing services for visitor’sattractions.
