INTRODUCTION
Travel and Tourism industry play a crucial role in the development of economy through
generating maximum number of employment opportunities and generated huge income to the
government which directly invested for welfare of the people. Therefore, the government and
private company which are indulged in providing travel and tourism services are responsible to
formulate an effective plans and strategies in order to develop travel industry further. Titan
travel, a UK based company which is engaged in providing travel and tourism services is
selected for the purpose of preparing this report. The project includes the evaluation of current
issues and trends which directs travel and tourism sector to brings some innovation in cope up
with such exist trends. Along with this, strategies in order to accept competitive changes are also
summarised under this report. Impact of changes on travel and tourism sector along with their
implication are also explained under this report (Becker, 2016.).
TASK 1
1.1: Evaluation of problems that presently rive alternation with travel and tourism sectors
Tourism sectors is considered as fastest growing sector which are supported by various
units such as government, private companies etc. They perform individually thus implementing
different plans and strategies are different which brings lots of issues and problems among such
units. This will make negative impact on the growth of travel and tourism sector. Therefore,
there are various elements which need to be considered in order to attract large number of
travellers from different countries. Some of them are discussed under the below:
Risk of cost of fuel: It has been clearly seen that the changes in fuel cost will make huge
impact on the travel and tourism sector as if cost of fuel increases then it will increases the cost
of transportation due to which the travellers shows less interest in visiting tourism destinations in
different countries. This will bring losses to travel and tourism companies as well (Cohen and
Cohen, 2015).
Up-gradation of technologies: In order to maximise experience of visitors, it is required
to adopt advanced and modern technologies at destination places. Therefore, making changes in
existing technologies is essentially required other wide using outdated technology will spoil the
experience and interest of customers due to which they may show less willposteringness to visit
at destination places.

poster Requirement of high securities: Mostly every visitors would prefer to visit at such places
where they feel secured and safe. As there are different countries where terrorism activities takes
places in earlier times thus the customers may hesitate to visit at such places they feel insecure
and unsafe. Therefore, UK government and private tourism companies should required to ensure
them through providing safe accommodation and facilities in order to attract large number of
customers to visit at their country.
Global economic modification: There are different changes which takes place due to
various factors such as impact on Brexit which will make huge impact on the economy of the
country. Therefore, the government play an important role in formulating an effective plans and
strategies regarding imposing taxes and exchange rate that the customers pay at the time of visit
(Cohen and et. al., 2014).
Reduction in airway costs: It is the important source which need to be developed
otherwise it will make negative impact on customer's interest. While deciding to visit to different
countries for the purpose of travelling, the visitors first search the cost of their transportation thus
if they found rises in cost of airways then their decision of travelling will be much affected as it
influences their budget as well. Therefore, the cost of airways should required ot be reduced in
order to attract and influence interest and decision of visitors regarding travelling to different
countries.
1.2: Analysis of various issues through using suitable methods and techniques
It has been observed that travel and tourism sector is the source of connecting people of
different countries. The “Titan Travel” need to focus on using suitable methods and resources
such as primary and secondary sources in order to identify the issues that brings difficulties in
front of tourist at the time of travelling. Primary source is considered as a suitable method which
is useful to evaluate appropriate market through conducting survey and research in order to
identifying the interest and behaviour of tourists. On the other hand, secondary method consists
of collecting information through various sources such as books, magazine, reports previously
made by other person etc. thus information are less reliable and accurate. Along with this, the
income earned by tourism industry should be invested for the further growth of such industry in
terms of adopting marketing tools to attract large number of tourists. There are various elements
aspects which are needed to be taken into account such as:
