IntroductionTravel and tourism is one of the leading industry in all over the world. It demand amongpeople increase and overall industry is earning profit. There are some current issues which arefaced by travel and tour company such as terrorist’s attack and advance technology. Travel andtour company industry also help in growth and development of economy because it helps inexchanging currency which lead to growth of GDP. In the present report selected organizationand destination is Titan travel and Cost rica destination. the Titan travel company is one of thebest tour company in UK. It focus on making innovative product and services which increase thesatisfaction level of customer. The report cover various current issue faced by tour company isanalysed. Along with this, current trend influences the changes in the travel and tourism sector isevaluated. Apart from this, consequence of business failing to respond the market changes isdiscussed. Task 11.1 Issues currently driving change in the travel and tourism sectorAccording to the given scenario, Titan travel is tour operator company which is located insituated in UK. It is one of the leading company who won numerous award for its innovativeproduct and services. Further, there are many issues which take place which impact tourcompany. Working as an assistant manager there are many currently issues which drive changesin the travel and tourism sector and this are faced by Cost rica destination is discussed below:-Technology:- New technology introduce in market which play significant role in traveland tourism sector. There are many problem take place due to this technology which isfaced by tourist. There are many hacker who hack websites of tour company and misusedit, which create negative impact on visitor. Due to this reason visitor avoid bookingtickets from Titan travel and bad image created of travel and tour company in front ofvisitors (Blanke and Chiesa, 2013). Moreover, visitor books tickets through onlinefacility where they need to share their personal information which was hacked by hackerand they misuse those information. After searching online destination, then customerbook tickets for particular place. But hacker provide wrong information on fake sitewhich impact tour company as well as visitor too. This all are the current issue of newtechnology which is faced by tourist and this lead to decline in sale of tour company.
Natural disaster: It is one of the another issues which have great impact on Cost ricadestination and Titan company. Along with this there are many place which is disasterdue to earthquake, flood etc. this all destroy the natural beauty because of this reasonmany tourist avoid visiting at different destination. Further, customer not like to visitsuch place where risk of earthquake is high (Vila, Darcy and González, 201). There aremany destination which lost its natural beauty due to natural earthquake, tsunami, floodetc. Hence, it can be stated that it negatively impact the travel and tour company. Thisalso decrease the overall profit and sale of Titan travel company.Terrorist’s attack; Terrorist’s attack is one of the major current issue which directlyimpact the tour industry and Cost rica destination. It is very dangerous for customer tovisit at new destination due to terrorist’s attack. Along with this if tourist not feel safe andsecure at particular place then they will not like to visit that places (Blanke and Chiesa,2013,). This impact the sale and revenue of Titan travels company. Moreover,organization need to take step and provide safety to visitor which can be done throughmaking contact with agency who provide security. Apart from this, there are many placewhere terrorist’s attack chances is highs, so customer avoid to visit such destination. Economy: Economy is also current issue which impact the tour industry and destination.After specific period of time government changes and it modify the taz policy whichimpact the profit of Titan travel. Along with this if economy condition is good then thereis increase in demand of tour package while if economy condition is not good then itreduce the sale (Xiang, Magnini and Fesenmaier, 2015).
