Abstract
The aim of the report is a summary of the different leadership styles followed across the
world and its alignment with the style followed in Banvit, a consumer goods industry in
Turkey. The contrast between the leadership styles as observed from the interview with the
manager reveal that usually the participative style of leadership is followed here, although
meetings involving greater hierarchy follows the authoritative style and the ultimate fate of
the procedure depends at the discretion of the head of the company. This report gives a
detailed description of the different types of leadership styles usually found, and how it varies
with that followed by the manager of Banvit.
