Leadership refers to the ability of the group or individual for influencing and guiding the
followers and other individual of the business organisation. It involves of making sound and
difficult decisions crating and articulating the clear vision, establishing the objectives and goals
and give followers the knowledge and tools essential for achieving those objectives and

business operations. Resources of the organization must be used effectively for achieving
goals. For this the leaders should use the leadership style of Shackleton. It will guide and help
the leaders of the firm to efficiently lead employee's. This report states the learning from a article
based on Earnest Shackleton for facing the issues in business management. In addition the report
examines the firms condition related to leadership and recommendations for effective
management.

leader may opt for managing and leading the team and its members in a way where they feel

the team members by enhancing the morale and arranging team having same skills and interest
for work. Shackleton was famous as the cautious leader and well known scholar who leaded its
team for crossing the ice in Antarctica for completing the exploration missions. With its crew
members he was the first one to cross the continent of Antarctica by motivating and leading them
in effective way. It have analysed from the Shackleton's style of leadership that leaders should
have responsibility and commitment sense with presence of mind to encounter any challenge
faced while completing the mission. All the tools and resources must be used for leading and
motivating the team for achieving the goals.
