In today's world there are different kinds of management issues are raised due to change
in environmental situations, market, trend and technology which impact the profitability and
operations of organizations. The changes in business environment are occurred rapidly, in
addition it is non predictive in nature nature and due to this the management of firm required to
utilize their available resources in effective and systematic way. For gaining success and
maintaining the performance of organization, management need to use Shackleton leadership
style. This type of style assist the manager of organization to directing their workers in right

and objectives. This article shows that in which way develop a most effective leadership style
and lead their employees by enhancing morale and also assist to develop the skills of employees
effectively. According to above mentioned article Shackleton leadership style also assist the
employees to sustain their commitment towards their organization for long time. This type of

With help of this style proper communication are easily sustained between all
categories of employee's regarding various types of work. When communication are effectively
made between employees then task are divided effectively which leads to decrease the stress
from the minds of each worker at high rate. Due to having low stress workers are able to do their
work with attractive and systematic manner.
The other lesson is that this type of leadership style provides clear vision to employees
regarding their job roles and responsibilities (Borowski, 2021). Due to having clear vision both
organization and employees run their activities in right directions. In this way organization and
employee easily enhanced their career and future growth at higher rate in low time. Due to
having clear understanding and vision employee's within firm is able to handle the complicated
task quickly.
The last and most important lesson is developing unity and commitment between
employee's. Due to having proper unity employees are able to accomplish their complicated and
difficult task in time. Due to finishing the task in time, revenue and overall growth of
organization are highly increased within low time. The other benefit of unity and commitment is
that here organization always delivered best quality product to customers in time.

issues are increasing employee turnover, changing in technology, ineffective team work, high
work pressure, ineffective support, decreasing performance level, lack of coordination and
others. These type of issues are responsible for declining the performance of organization at
higher rate. For example here the chosen company is Unilever for understanding the concept of
contemporary management issues and it is a multinational British consumer goods organization.
The company was established in 1929 which is situated in London, United Kingdom. In context

to Unilever there are different types of management issues which includes ineffective poor
work culture, less motivation among employees, weak leadership style, etc. impact their
performance effectively. As a leader here management need to use autocratic and power culture
in their organization for managing the employees effectively and also for sustaining their
productivity in long term. In context to Unilever the manager of this firm did not allow their
employee's to participate in their decision making which leads to enhance damage relationship
between employee and employer for long time. The other problem is that due to less
participation lower level employees are not able to use their own ideas and creativity in various
project which is highly essential for the growth of company. Moreover, here leaders of this
organization did not keep proper interaction with workers which leads to decrease their
confidence level at high rate. Due to this employees are not able to share their real problems with
higher authorities effectively. Unfortunately due to facing this type of issues organization easily
loss their talented employees in huge number (Choe, Yu and Wang, 2018). As a result due to
decreasing skilled employees organization need to face huge financial loss which leads to impact
the goodwill of organization in market for long time.

After the analysis of above data it concludes that the management of Unilever must
modify their leadership style and organization culture which leads to enhance the
performance and productivity of organization. Due to the effective use of Shackleton leadership
style manager of this firm easily sustained the potentiality of the employee's for achieving their
desired goals. By facilitating more freedom and autonomy for participating regarding decision
making and allows them to provide their ides during the time of creating plan for performing
various types of task in effective manner. In aspect of organizational culture, when organization
maintained positive work environment employees easily accomplish their task with full passion
and interest. In this way organization easily sustained their goodwill in market for long time
regarding their product and services. The other recommendation is that authority also use latest
technology in their business activities and workplace area. Due to the effective use of technology
employees easily accomplished their task in prescribed time and with high quality for long time.
With help of providing proper training employee's are able to adapt the usage of new technology
which is highly important for their career growth. Also they can also motivate employees to
