Environmental Conditions Assignment_2
RESEARCH PAPER REVIEWBACKGROUND The article “Control of Saccharomyces cerevisiae pre-tRNA processing by environmentalconditions” describes the processing rates and responses of tRNA when exposed to differentsituations or conditions. Previously there were no strongly established models proposed withregards to interaction of the regulatory pathways when considering the case of Saccharomycescerevisiae. However, partial models were devised as depicted in (Edgington and et. al., 1999).According to Gancedo, (2001), there is a display of growth in vegetative manner whenconsidered as yeast form. The filamentous growth of this special kind of yeast has been depictedin the article “Control of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Filamentous Growth by Cyclin-DependentKinase Cdc28”. The works of these authors and information from the researches have influencedresearchers to undertake this project. The characteristics associated with cell polarity and the typical changes which come upin the organism were in access to the knowledge of Higuchi-Sanabria, R. and et. al., (2014).Apart from the widespread use of this bacteria or organism in processes like wine making orbaking, this unicellular organism has been affected by mutations and changes in theenvironment. When introducing in variable atmospheres the organism changes its orientationsand introduces different transcriptions (Williams, T.C. and et. al., 2015). The background that isprovided in the article is quite sufficient to understand the essence of research work. It can bestated that the background presented in this article is plain description of the key points inresearch. AIMS The aim of this research paper is not clearly defined by the author. Every research paperor journal requires clear definition and communication of aim with which all the information hasbeen gathered. However, there is commendable efforts by authors to investigate the processingof pre-tRNA 3' termini when considered their stress response. The perspective presented byauthors is not clearly stated which weakens the delivery of information. It gives a vague start tothe research and limits understanding for general audience. Furthermore, there is no cleardepiction of research questions in the presented paper.3
