It facilitates the consumers with the 24 hour available transportservice in accessible manner. The concept was pioneered by Uber and hence the trend was laterknown as “Uberification”. The car service Uber, of net worth $62.5 billion (2005) is providingits services in 404 cities around the globe.Along with immense acceptance and appreciation, the company was in controversy dueto many reasons such as unlicensed drivers, safety and security issues, threat to environment,market failure and non-compliance of legality of region (Cusumano, 2015). In that regard adebate was ignited with respect to the regulation and deregulation of Uber cabs. Differentopinions and perceptions were shared among people.
