Introduction:
The aim of this report is to discuss about the aspect of heat transfer roofing. Followed
by the mentioned topic this report will discuss about most effective products which holds the
capability to address the raised issue in the above mentioned topic. Followed by the
discussion on the products it will also consist a brief elaboration on the offered benefits as
well as the limitations present in the application of the selected products. Apart from
discussing the benefits and the limitations it will also consist a brief explanation on the
budget and the installation process of the selected products. Since, the entire project is based
on the residential construction it will further discuss about the potential environmental impact
in order to determine the technological improvement or failure with respect to the aspect of
ecosystem. Considering all of the above aspect in this report the three cool roofing products
has been selected which includes the solar roofs, white roofs and the metal roofs (Cub et al.,
2016). Detail discussion of these three products are provided in the below discussion.
Cool Roofing Products:
While considering the aspect of residential construction it has been observed that cool
roofing has a significant impact on the residential environment of the selected area. Hence, it
is very important to have an efficient heat transitive roof technique which will provide
effective cooling to the home. After the investigation on the previous roofing techniques it
has been noticed that several products such as the dark asphalt any others does not holds
enough capacity to provide effective service on warm as well as in the moist atmosphere.
While selecting the roofing products the classification of roofs has been considered across
Australia and the worldwide. Followed by this Solar Roofs, White Roofs and the Metal roofs
has been selected. Detail of each of the roofing product is mentioned below:

Solar Roofs-
Cool roofs are nothing but a system in which it increases the solar reflection as well as
increases the thermal remittance which is implemented by certain roofing products. Solar
Roofing is one the roofing technique in which solar plates are utilized the get the desire
result. Unlike other shingles solar shingles are one of the roofing material which reduces the
heat transfer as well as produced electricity due to the application of solar plates (Kolokotroni
et al., 2018). Followed by this aspect the solar shingles are classified with respect to its size
and type. Considering the above discussed aspects Tesla Solar Roof is one of the most
effective building integrated photovoltaic product which holds the features of roof shingled as
well as the solar panels. Apart from the functionality to protect the residential roofs from
external threats, the application of tesla solar roofs also offers to produce the solar energy
(Ferrari et al., 2016). The solar shingles from the brands like Tesla Solar Roofs offers the
residential property owner to get the facility of solar energy production by the application of
solar shingles without even installing the solar panels. Followed by this aspect while
analysing the market demand and the services of the Tesla Solar Roofs it has been noticed
that this is one of the most impactful home renovation product which is protects the roofs of
the home as well as produces energy. In the year 2018 the company has released its new prize
list in which the costumers needs to paid $35/square foot hence, it can be sated that Tesla
Solar Roof products are work efficient as well as cost effective (Almuzel et al., 2018).

The installation process is very quick.
It produces the solar energy with lower maintenance cost.
Reasonable prize.
Cool downs the roofs as it increases the heat transmission.
It increases the heat reflectance.
In order to produce the energy it utilizes the renewable natural source.
No specific location is required.
Along with that it reduces the electricity bills as the produced energy is utilized rather
than using and paying for the electricity.
While comparing the implementation of the traditional shingles with the tesla solar
shingles it can has been noticed that there is significant difference between its costs.
As it is mentioned that in the solar roofing it does not requires the installation of solar
panels to produce the solar energy, only the application of the solar shingles are
enough, it has indicated that cost effectiveness of the Tesla Solar Roof product
(Galarza et al., 2017).
Limitations –
Followed by the above benefits it has been observed that Tesla Solar Roof has one
significant limitation which includes the aspects of its weather dependency.
White Roofs-
Along with the application of the solar roof products, white roofs are also effective in
order to cooling down the rooftops. White roofs work with the process of surface reflection
where it offers high heat transfer as well as increases thermal emittance. In order to support
the above statement it can be stated that while before the application of the surface reflection
or the white roof techniques near about 15% of the sunlight reflects backs to the sky and the
remaining sunlight gets absorbed by the roofs and produces more heat which reduces the

coolness of the residential roof tops (Lindquist and Sutton 2015). However, while applying
the cool roof techniques or surface reflection technique it offers the capability to reflect as
much as possible which is significantly higher than the conventional heat reflection process.
Hence, it can be stated that white roofing can effectively help to cool down the residential
roof tops. Followed by this aspect the product Great White Roofs Inc has been nominated.
The Great White Roof has the feature to keep the roof of dry and cool. After analysing the
business services as well as their products for roof repairing it has been noticed that one of
eth most effective product of their roof repairing is its cool roofing products. Followed by
providing one of the best cool roofing services it also provides 50 years of guaranty which
has significantly attracted by the user. Hence, followed by all of the above mentioned features
the cool roofing product from Great White Roofs has been nominated. Along with the above
mentioned features it is also a cost effective product as it only charges $2.1 for each square
foot which is much lower than the other products (Park et al., 2019).

well.
After analysing the business strategies of the Great White Roofs white roofing
product it has been observed that their primary business objective is the customer
satisfaction. Hence, followed by this objective this is one of the best quality product
(Roman et al., 2016).
One of the oldest product which provides good quality product to protect the
residential roofs.
Effective water proofing feature.
One of the cost effective product among all of the white roofing product.
Along with the above benefits the limitations are listed below:
One of the major limitations of the white roofing is attracts dirt.
Along with that is creates unwanted glare which causes significant nuisance.
Along with that the cool roofing process enhances the global warming.
Metal Roofs-
While discussing about the cool roofing process, the concept of metal roofing must be
considered. Metal roofing is such process which is from by specific metal pieces which holds
significant longevity, resistance as well as less absorbency compared to the other cool roofing
process. In this types of metal roofing process the different typeds of metal are used which
includes the Galvalume Coated Steel, Stainless steel, Zinc, Copper as well as the Aluminum.
Followed by this while analysing features of each types of metal roofing one of the best
quality metal roofing is by using the Galvalume coating which consist of 43.4% of zinc, 1.6%
of silicon and 55% of aluminum hence it can be stated that this types of the metal holds the
