Five relevant facts about coronavirus:
1. Coronaviruses also known as Coronaviridae , is a large family of viruses that
induces respiratory diseases. Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe
Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) are two commonly occurred infections where
causative agent is corona virus. The Coronaviridae are considered as a group of
enveloped virus that comprises positive-strand with approximately non segmented
genomes of around 30,000 nucleotides (Kooijman et al., 2017). The family of
Coronaviridae includes two genera of viruses such as Coronavirus and Toro virus,
that share similarities in the organization of viral structural and expression of their
genomes and the structure of the viral gene products. The most recently discovered
coronavirus causes coronavirus disease COVID-19.
