facilitating the matching between jobseekers and employment opportunities and helping hirers
find candidates for advertised roles (Cilliers, Viljoen, & Chinyamurindi, 2018). The company is
headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Seek is a publicly traded company listed on
the Australian Securities Exchange. The operations of the company expands across many
countries, some are Australia, China, Bangladesh etc. In this report the ASX corporate
governance principles/recommendations is discussed. In this the strengths and weaknesses of
governance structure and sustainability initiatives taken by the company is also discussed.
Strengths of structures and mechanisms
The strengths of structures includes that it leads in creating the long term as well as
sustainable value of shareholder, however, the board of directors ensure that workplace of the
company and the functions of the company is equal, fair and also respectful for their workers.
