This study focuses on identifying the accountability of corporate governance practices in UK retail industry, with a specific study on Tesco. The research aims to identify different corporate governance practices used by Tesco for managing effective business functions, evaluate the role of corporate governance practices for Tesco in managing business functions, and analyse the challenges faced by Tesco in absence of effective corporate governance set-up in their organisation. The study uses a quantitative research choice to assemble numerable and statistical information, and both primary and secondary data collection methods are used. The time framework is scheduled using a Gantt chart.
