Dominos is the name of a pizza restaurant chain that is based in America which was
founded in the year 1960. The headquarters of the corporation is in within the Farms Office
Park within Michigan. It emerged to become largest pizza seller across the world in relation
to the sales. The business activity of the company pertains to the selling of products like the
chicken wings, dessert, pasta, pizza along with the submarine sandwiches
(Annualreports.com., 2019). The company operates in various countries like Canada,
Mexico, United States, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Bangladesh,
Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, Jordan and Kenya. The main industry of the
company pertains to food delivery, franchising along with the restaurants.
Reliance is the name of Indian conglomerate holding company that has headquarters
within Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has business within India in relation to various products like
Petroleum, Natural Gas, Petrochemicals, Textiles, Retail along with the Telecommunications.
Reliance can be said to be a profitable company within India and it can be said to be largest
public traded company in relation to the market capitalisation (Ril.com., 2019). The expertise
of the company lies in developing the products along with the markets from the concept to
the stage of the fruitition. The brands of the company can be said to be natural extension of
that of the philosophy of the excellence. The products along with the brands of the company
has been successful in touching lives and enhancing lifestyles of a large number of Indians.
Reliance Industries Limited has manufacturing facilities throughout the country in Hazira,
Jamnagar, Hoshiarpur, Nagpur, Naroda along with Vadodara. The activities of the Reliance
industries span in the area of the hydrocarbon exploration along with that of production
petroleum refining. Petrochemical segments comprises of the production along with the
marketing operations pertaining to petroleum products. Other segments of Reliance Industries

Limited comprises of the textile retail business and the development of the special economic
zone.

There are various issues that are dealt with by the companies in the social reports. The
company takes care of the fact that they maintain ethical behaviour pertaining to the value
chain of the company. The social reports point out to the fact that they want to take care of
the store model so that it is cost-efficient. The issues that are laid stress on by the company
pertains to the moderate capital requirements along with the menu of the affordable items.
They take care of the operational issues so that they can get an edge above the competitors.
The company tries to streamline the process of the production along with the delivery process
that can help in maximising the economies of the scale in relation to various kinds of food
items. The company ensures the fact that it does not face any problem in relation to the
technological innovation that can help in the long-term success of the company and helps the
company in being socially responsible. The digital ordering can be said to be crucial in
relation to the global pizza industry (Hartley, 2015). The social report of the company lays
emphasis on the arena of the technological innovation that can be instrumental in bringing
profits for the company. The major theme of the social report of Dominos pertains to the
community involvement that can help it in providing the benefits to the society and helps the
company in being socially responsible.
The kind of information in the social report of Reliance Industries pertains to the
product flow that helps in ensuring the aspect of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
of the company. The information is in relation to the value chain of the company that
comprises of the logistic and the supply chain of the company. The theme of the corporate
social responsibility report is in relation to the advanced logistics infrastructure of the

company that is inclusive of the marine facility of the company (Thapar, 2015). The range of
the ships vary from small carrier to that of the large crude carrier that can pave the path for

advantage.
The differences in between the two reports lie in the fact that the social report of
Dominos talks about the production process of the company that can ensure the growth of the
company. The social report of Reliance on the other hand talks about the logistic
infrastructure of the company that can help in the sustainability of the company.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) refer to global goals that can help in
ending poverty across the globe. The SDG that is addressed by Dominos is in relation to
ensuring the good health of the people that can help in the overall well-being of the people. In
my opinion, the sustainable goal of good health and the well-being is crucial in relation to the
company Dominos. The company also takes care of the fact that they purchase from that of
the green companies that can help in serving the community. The company achieves this goal
by focussing on the aspect of the ingredient that can be instrumental in offering best products
to customers along with their families. The company does not use the fillers but they make
use of high quality meats. The company has been instrumental in distributing their own
vegetables from the supply chain facility of the company within Georgia (Bhosale & Deo,
2018). They have eliminated the aspect of the artificial food colouring from their products
along with the trans-fat from that of the core pizza products. Dominos is instrumental in
sourcing the mass balance palm oil with the help of their supplier called AAK USA. Dominos
Pizza LLC can be said to be a member of Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).

the affordable energy. Reliance Industries makes use of the coal along with the solar power
that helps in taking care of sustainability of the company. They produce the innovative

Sinha, 2016). Reliance Industries has diversified the hydrocarbon business that has helped
the company in gaining ground within India. The company has implemented the plan of
addition of the new chemical chains that has helped it in producing the composites that are of
high value. The company has been instrumental in opening the off-gas cracker complex
position that has made it an efficient producer of the polymer. The company has introduced
Petcoke gasification project that has eliminated dependence of that of the refinery on the
imported natural gas.

The organizations go through various kinds of phases in the event of the
implementation of the sustainability practice. It can be said that Dominos is in the CSR 2.0
phase that provides the company with the competitive advantage. The company makes use of
sustainability that helps in bringing about the performance improvements in relation to the
products of the company. The company involves itself in collaboration with the suppliers that
helps the company in making profits. The corporate social responsibility report of Dominos
point forward to the fact that the competitive advantage of the company helps in improving
the image of the company. It plays an important role in improving the aspect of the
shareholder value of the company.
On the basis of the CSR report, it can be said that Reliance Industries is in the CSR 3
phase as it gives stress on the aspect of the reinvention along with the regeneration. Reliance
Industries involves itself in challenging business model that helps it in solving the problems

The stated value of Dominos is that it wants to emerge as an exceptional company by
the production of the unique foods. The value of the company can be said to be in relation to
the fact that it wants to focus on supporting the local communities. The company has been
active in offering support to the youth sports teams that has helped the company in feeding
the first responder at the times of the crisis. The procedures of the company reflects the
shared values as the products of the company leave the stores within the corrugated boxes.
The box supplier helps in the maintenance of the certified fiber sourcing that helps it in
winning the confidence of the people. The company also takes recourse to the chain-of-
custody certification that can assist in growth of the company. The company makes use of the
third party audits that has helped the company in achieving the goals. The company does not
involve itself in buying from the operations that can have a bad effect on the regions having
the high conservation value. The company holds the certification with that of Sustainable
Forestry Initiative along with the Forest Stewardship Council that aids the process of growth
of Dominos.

Agrawal & Sharma, 2015). The company has a systematic method that has helped the
company in improving the activities and deliver the competitive performance. The people
management system of the organization has helped in providing support to the organization
with the help of a streamlined common platform. It inspires the employees that helps the
company in the achievement of the business values. The refineries of the company have been
equipped in a manner that has helped it in refining the multiple categories pertaining to the
crude. The process of the vertical integration has helped the company in the attainment of
success that has helped in the aspect of social responsibility of the company. The company
takes care of the fact that the various resources like the air, water along with the fossil fuel
are used in a sustainable manner that can be instrumental in helping the company to achieve

The ideas of the group corroborate the fact that Dominos lays great amount of
emphasis on the well-being of the people that can help the company in making profits within
the competitive market of India. The group ideas adheres to my conclusion as the group has
also talked about the fact that the company makes use of the corrugated boxes that helps it in
adhering to the needs and the demands of the customers of the present age. The opinion of the
group also agrees with mine as they have also elaborated on how Dominos wants to embrace
the community by offering support to that of the local communities that helps in taking care
