Executive Summery
The aim of this report is to analyze the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in
today’s world. in this regard, the aspects that constitutes socially responsible needs to be
analyzed. Considering the environmental as well as the social aspects and well-being are
important part of CSR. Most of the large organizations have made it a point to practice CSR
in order to reduce their footprint over the world and create reputation of going green. The
report concludes that the role and impact of CSR is essential mainly at a time when it has
become necessary that the environment be protected.

Corporate social Responsibility (CSR) is a business practice that is focused on
ensuring positive impact on society as well as the environment (JAIN 2013). In today’s
world, most of the firms are practicing CSR so that they can build a socially, culturally and
environmentally sustainable organization. While establishing business connections and
supply chain systems, many organizations forget about the impact that they are having
socially or culturally. Thus, it is their responsibility that they ensure responsible practices in
business so that they are able to bring about positive changes in the society as well as the
environment (Unit 2015). In this report, the role of Corporate Social Responsibility has been
discussed. Additionally, organizations that practice socially and environmentally responsible
process have been evaluated.

positive impact on the society and its people. Along with that, environmental considerations
are also a part of CSR as environment is closely related to the well-being of the society. the

labor and their working conditions, relationship with the employees and communities, gender

biodegradable packaging material, using logistics that leave less footprint are all steps that

alternative energy sources is also another method to mitigate the effects of environmental

site. They also are controlling the use of energy and production of waste. The organization
