Corporate governance refers to the mechanism, processes and
relations through which a company is controlled and directed
along with the balancing the interest of stakeholder engaged with
business.

1.1 Background of research
The current report is about the corporate governance failure faced
by Volkswagen related with emission scandal which affected
the image of company in marketplace. The main reason behind
this failure is that Volkswagen put more emphases toward
earning profit rather then following legal consideration which is
very unethical and hence result into corporate failure.
