STATISTICS 2Question 1: Selected variablesThis paper presents correlation analysis of three variables. Correlation analysis refers to theanalysis that seeks to find a relationship or a connection between two or more variables[ CITATIONSzé12 \l 1033 ]. The strength and the magnitude of the relationship is based on the value of thecorrelation coefficient that is obtained for any of the variables under investigation. As the valueapproaches +1 then the relationship is regarded as strong positive while as it approaches -1 therelationship is regarded as a strong negative relationship while a value that seems to beapproaching zero can be thought to either be weak negative or weak positive relationshipdepending the sign value [ CITATION Nik122 \l 1033 ].The selected variables for the correlation analysis are;Age of the respondent, The scores for life satisfaction The confidence scores.Question 2: Addressing correlation, significance, direction, and strengthIn this analysis, three variables have been considered. We considered age of the respondent, thescores for life satisfaction and the confidence scores. The aim is investigate the relationshipbetween the three variables (i.e. age of the respondent, confidence scores of the respondent andthe life satisfaction scores of the respondent).
