INTRODUCTION
Counselling has been determined as the talk therapy in which people meet with the
trained professional counsellor in context of talking about the issues and problems which has
been facing by them in their lives. Counselling is a confidential and non-judgemental process
therefore, an individual can share anything with the counsellor. It enhances the mental health of
the people, along with this counselling is affiliated with the main aim which is to serve the client
in best possible manner (Sisko, (2021). The current essay is based on performing the reflection
of counselling video. The reflection will be performed in critical manner. Also, ways in which
therapeutic relations has been established in the video within linking it to the session and
literature will be done. Furthermore, Demonstration of the counselling micro skills in the session
will be done. Moreover, with reference to the counselling model it will be analysed that, how
effectively counselling has been done in the video.

Analysing how effectively therapeutic relationship has been established within providing
examples from the session and reference to the literature
Therapeutic relation is being determined as the interactive relationship with the client in
which the complete support and care has been given to the patient. In the session, I have
analysed that there was therapeutic relationship is being established. The major elements that are
needed to establish the therapeutic relationship has been witnessed in the counselling session.
The major aim of therapeutic relationship is that, client feels comfortable and can easily
share everything. Counsellor must be non-judgemental as it increases the involvement of client.
Thus, while analysing the counselling video, I have analysed that, client was sharing everything
with counsellor without having fear of judgement (Nagy & et.al. (2022). Also, she was
comfortable at that time. This clearly states that the major aim of therapeutic relationship which
has been studied in the literature is being witnessed in the session.
