The system of counselling has many approaches in dealing with the patients. The two
essential approaches of them will be discussed in the following essay. One is the Therapeutic
relationship and the other one is the therapeutic technique. The essay will focus upon the
concepts, meaning and importance of these systems and further a relation of these two will be

To understand the Therapeutic Relationship and Therapeutic Techniques, one first
needs to understand the concept of Therapy. In common terminologies, Therapy can be
referred to as the system of consulting a therapist regarding the discussion of the problems
and developing a positive thinking and outlook to the world and also to develop a coping

therapists, the system of therapy is a commitment of a person to oneself of being comfortable
