Executive Summary
With the improvement of information technology and computers, network
computers have become more popular. Similar, security issue has greatly provoked
computer user’s attention, particular in a campus surrounding. Campus networks
being an important section of the campus life, individuals also provoke enough
attention to the issues of individual computer security management.
In the present days, a number of companies are arousing in in our environments for
owner or customer need in the areas of business operations. And so is Priority
Advertising Company. In order to compete with the most current computer based
technology, each business organization thrives to install high technology computers
in their business offices. In some cases, some companies at first will design the best
map network design from observations made from other business partners or
competitors. Here, they try to answer to themselves some questions such as what is
the best design practice. How much does it have to design such a network? Where
are the computing devices located? Such questions assists during decision making.
This makes the company not to face difficulties during design and implementation
stages. However, some companies have constructed their network without clear
plan. It is good to begin installing a network whose plan has been nicely prepared.
In this paper we seek to show how to design and upgrade network infrastructure for
Priority Advertising Company in a simplistic manner. Furthermore, we review the
current status of the company outline reasons as to why this company require
installation of IT infrastructure services.

Introduction
First with the drop of contemporary science, now every business enterprise uses
computers which are boon of the 21st century. This is now the cause of all the
phases of study and the research works in the race of improving a business
operations’ environment. During the growth of the company, more of the computer
facility required (Cascio & Montealegre, 2017).
Most of the times, running standalone computers is not feasible. In this case,
sharing of resources such as storage is required to for lowering the cost of
operations. Therefore there is every reason as to why we must computers
connected to one another in the premise.
Priority advertising business organization is an SME company with its main office
and Brisbane Suburb. Further to, this company has a junior branch in Toowoomba.
The Toowoomba branch is strategically installed there to support the increasing
number of customers from this region. Priority advertising business organization
functions with hundred and three employees. Eight of the employees support the
Toowoomba office whereas the remaining ninety five serve the Brisbane office. For
easy management of the employee, this company has subdivided employees into
departments on the basis of their functionalities. These departments are
photography, marketing, HR and accounting, advertising and graphic design. Every
department dwells on distinct floors of the company. The newly constructed
building in Brisbane and one at Toowoomba require to be networked and other IT
services to be installed to support business functions.
Project proposal
Priority advertising business organization has grown it customer base and there is a
need to expand their offices in order to support the increased customer base. In
response to this, the business enterprise top management has sought to construct a
building at it’s headquarter and hire one at its branch. These offices require to be
installed with IT infrastructure facilities. The IT infrastructure facilities would assist
the business carry its business operations effectively. The IT infrastructure services
to be constructed include the internet, email, print, file sharing and storage, DHCP,
DNS, databases, and security services.

Needs statement
Priority advertising business organization is an Internet based economy. Therefore
this requires around-the-clock customer service. This implies that IT infrastructure
services must be always available for the business functions to take place. The
business networks must be available at almost 100 percent. The IT services have to
be smart enough in order to protect the business against any form of unexpected
security incidents. Furthermore, the IT services must be capable to allow business
adjustments without interrupting the operations of the whole business. The network
should be able to maintain a consistent application response time.
Our good network design will not happen as accident. It will have to be constructed
by our technicians and designers who will study the business requirements and
select the best options for the Priority Advertising business organization. The below
are the network requirements for Priority Advertising business enterprise
i. The network ought to be easy to alter in order to adapt the general
business changes and network growth.
ii. The network should always be secure. The network to be constructed
should always be secure to protect Priority Advertising data that is
transmitted over the network from the field of scenes and stored in
company storage areas (Beyah & Chang, 2018).
iii. The network to be constructed should always be up always

order achieve the goal. Below are our network goals and objectives for Priority
