INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Interpersonal skills refers to the attributes which is carried by the employees during
interacting or communicating with other employees and team and also share their views and
thoughts to present the ideas in better way (Anleu and et.al., 2020). It is necessary for the
employees to carry the interpersonal skill in business, so that they can build the strong
relationship with them. From this perspective, I feel that it is necessary to carry the interpersonal
skills in business so that positive attitude is to be maintained regarding pertaining to particular
task.
Gibbs Model is published by Graham Gibbs which carry the perspective regarding
enhancing the learning by doing certain things which resulting in providing better results (Gibbs
Reflective Cycle by Graham Gibbs, 2020). It can be described through carrying this model in
which five steps are determined as:
Step 1: Description: The topic which is chosen for discussion is interpersonal skills. I feel that
during attaining the role of working in business, various skills are to be undertaken regarding
communicating with individual and group (Coady, Byrne and Casey, 2018). So that adequate
views and thoughts are shared and also various information are to be gathered which is helpful
for future perspective. I find that by carrying interpersonal skills, it results in bringing positive
attitude towards the work and also enhances the listening power regarding learning new things.
Step 2: Feeling: The feeling which I carried during undertaking the discussion, I felt that I not
carry the good presentation skill and also not presentable in presenting my views and thought
with everyone. From this perspective, the other people felt that I carry lack of undertaking in
grabbing the particular things which results in not approaching to new people with full
confidence (Vandergoot, 2019). After analysing the incapability which I carry regarding
attaining the interpersonal skills, I decided to develop self-confidence among me, in respect of
dealing with task individually and also communicating with various person to track the strategies
to accomplish such work.
Step 3: Evaluation: The positive things which I evaluated during attaining the task is relating to
handling the emotions and carrying patiences regarding getting the positive signs. The negative
aspects which I realized regarding attaining the work is relating to not managing the entire work
in right manner. As every person had different perspective of thinking and presenting their
views, thus, it is difficult in the business to manage the ideas of the employees in similar way
