Introduction
Success is the accomplishment of main aim or purpose. Or in business language we can say that
financial rewards of all handwork that a group of people or an individual put in there work.
Success is that stimuli which provides others happiness, motivation, healthier life. Success refers
to find fully live your purpose in life and give you the immense pleasure to motivate others as
well. Ethics is the moral philosophy or moral practices that organization perform in the for the
society. Ethics plays an important role in the organization which define and take care of right
and wrong and build openness integrity and community. Museums and galleries supported by the
sackler family which is the wealthy family who own Purdue pharma, which is famous for the
manufacturing the highly addictive painkiller, who is involved in the unethical issues of selling
drugs illegally. The sackler family was founded that 45 U.S. states and 1,500 cities were suing
Purdue Pharma for misconduct in marketing and sales of a highly profitable drug. The company
is also accused that they are doing misconducting marketing and sales of highly profitable drug.
And also accused for making false claims by branding there product as “Hope in the bottle”.
OxyContin became one of the most highly prescribed drugs on the U.S. And the fact is that they
are highly addictive and from this deaths of people. The sackler family phrama company was
recklessly indifferent to the impact of their action and most of the people found them guilty and
despite of all this they also have prof against the sackler family, Purdue pharma. The main aim of
this report is that they want to take out the unethical behavior of the sackler family and the
Purdue pharma intoxication in the medicine.
Can an organization be described as successful if it is not ethical?
As the sackler family US's most famous and reputed family in the united kingdom dealing
in the business of pharma and named a company Purdue pharma who make responsible for
manufacturing the highly addictive opioid OxyContin. The sackler According to this case they
was facing criticism and lawsuits. Ethics is defined as moral philosophy and moral practices by
the group of persons and in this case the sackler family who is been accused by the united states
and 1500 different cities were suing them for there unethical behavior, that type of attitude or
behavior that falls outside of what is considered morally right or wrong in the case of sackler
family pharma business they are successful in the money making and sound company and also
very famous drug dealer company in US who is selling across the world. Talking about the
success of the sackler family business behind very popular painkiller drug OxyContin.

Oxycontin painkillers is a strong painkiller which surpasses the pain and sensations of the brain
cells(Anslow and Maurer 2015). It relaxes the patients and reduce anxiety and it is very much
similar to the heroine. It claims and have a majority of deaths approx 70,000 to the consumption
of drugs like Oxycontin(Coan Mountain and Hanna 2016). The sackler family business as they
are successful and very popular in united states where they were selling there products in a good
surplus. Group selling there drugs in the market of US and 500 cities, counties and native of
American tribes across the US has filled massive lawsuit. As the sackler family is working in
the pharma industry from long time and selling his drugs and medicines over the years, the
family has been very generous and protector of the medical research and build the nation's
universities including Columbia and Yale(Carroll 2015). Purdue told doctors the drug had a low
addiction rate and now it increases. As according to the case currently sackler family is facing
lots of criticism which is not good for the companies profile and image but what is happening in
the current scenario is as they are manufacturing highly addictive Oxycontin(Olszewska
Ostroumov and Olszewski 2017). As they are also sharing high profit and market share In the
market so there are various stages of the company's history , family members have sat on the
board they share different opinions and stages, And they found guilty in the production because
they have been doing unethical practices as they are misleading both the public and medical
professionals about the drug effectiveness whilst downplaying the addictive nature of the drug
they doing malfunctioning and also giving bribe to the superiors who can function the market
and who can take there product through the market and this OxyContin drug is blamed for
helping and building the sparks in opioid crises in the college and schools of Yale and new York
kids and youngsters are getting addictive towards this and these kids are dying of this and from
this the sackler family is enjoying the higher profit from the sales of OxyContin and They have
also been accused of misleading both the public and medical professionals about the drug’s
effectiveness whilst downplaying the addictive nature of the drug. Company doing unethical
trade practices and playing with the health and safety of others. Companies marketing strategy is
also criticized by many people around the US for there aggressive e and manipulative. In the
mid-1990s when OxyContin was launched, medical professionals were treated to all expenses
paid conferences in resorts. They are doing unethical practices with the health and safety of the
public(Dunst Raab Hamby and Long 2015). So there The sackler family makers of OxyContin is
successfully earning and enjoying the high profits in the market but what they are manufacturing
