I am writing to you to enquire about the various leadership positions available in your
organization. As a professional Registered Nurse, I have gained extensive clinical experience in
Maternal Newborn Nursing. I believe my educational qualifications and clinical abilities and
management in a health organization make me a suitable candidate for leadership roles in your
organization.
I have obtained my Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) from Grand Canyon University and Associates
Degree in Nursing from Houston Community College. This short term nursing training has
enabled me to perform entry-level basic nursing duties. I have been awarded Licensed
Vocational Nursing Certification from Paris Junior College which allows me to work as a
Registered Nurse and perform supervision in bedside responsibilities in maternity care.
I am presently working as a Staff Nurse in Medical City Dallas imparting exceptional individual
care to new mothers and babies. I am adept in assessment and evaluation of patient care,
following and appropriate execution of physicians instructions. Educating new mothers on self-
care and newborn-care post-delivery sessions involves a part of my nursing responsibilities. I
perform efficiently in providing both physical and emotional support to the expectant mothers. I
prioritize patient care and maintain regular electronic documentation using Meditech and
Centricity Perinatal software.
