INTRODUCTION
The report proposal aims to provide evaluation and understanding of the issues faced by
hospitality industry. There are many issues arrived after the situation of Covid-19 pandemic as it
leads to create a lot of influence on the business and its profitability. It creates a lot of
interferences in the organisation functioning which changes the whole management functions.
Due to Covid-19, organisation loose many employees which results in increasing their turnover.
The report is going to evaluate the understanding on the research for premier inn. The company
was founded in 1987 in England UK. The brand has consist 72000 rooms and 800 hotels.
Therefore, the hotel also faced many issues in loosing talent employees due to insufficient profits
and customer engagement. The economy goes decline and unbalanced. So that, the report is
going to conduct research through literature sources and appropriate research methods.

To analyse the issue of increased employee turnover in the organization due to
COVID19. The case study on Premier inn.

Employee turnover ratio is required to be reduced in an organisation. The more
organisation will face turnover rate, the more they will attain negative position in the market.

The organisation needs to focus on minimising high turnover ratio. The concept of turnover
refers to number of employees leaving or separating from organisation. The more employees will
get separate, the more organisation will get pressure to their new candidate, provides trainings
and make them familiar with all the work. For an organisation, these turnover could be both good
or bad which depends on the situation and area of working. As low turnover will maintain the
talented and trained employees in the organisation. whereas, high turnover will maintain the
dynamic working environment in which organisation require new and fresh talent which will fill
the vacant position as one employees leaves, other comes. So, the concept is highly relevant for
organisation in hospitality industry. Employees are the crucial part which carries out all the work
activities and helps in achieving organisational aims and objectives. It is required to ascertain
maximum turnover ration as it keep the good brand name into the market.

Employees turnover is being the most important issue in the current time after the
pandemic crises. As the businesses are still unstable as well as facing many problems due to
shortage of employees and skilled labour force. This is due to because of not having enough
potential to pay high salaries to the skilful employees and make them separate from the
company. In Covid-19 pandemic, many employees lost their jobs due to note having profit to pay
salaries. Therefore, it become the most important issue as of now, it become difficult for the
organisation to regain talented employees in the organisation. It creates a a lot of hassle in
researching for the right talent which match with the organisation functions. So that, employees
turnover is the major issue facing by hospitality sector in the market. Due to rising competition
and every business creating scheme and policies for employees welfare. This results in rising
competition to attract new candidates for which they need to many good salaries and work
incentives. These all are become an important concept for job seekers as well as organisation to
save training cost, hiring and selection efforts.

ratio. As some employees separate by their own and some are asked to leave the company. This
situation comes after the pandemic comes when organisation does not have customer top serve.
