INTRODUCTION
The report proposal aims to provide evaluation and understanding of the issues faced by
hospitality industry. There are many issues arrived after the situation of Covid-19 pandemic as it
leads to create a lot of influence on the business and its profitability. It creates a lot of
interferences in the organisation functioning which changes the whole management functions.
Due to Covid-19, organisation loose many employees which results in increasing their turnover.
The report is going to evaluate the understanding on the research for premier inn. The company
was founded in 1987 in England UK. The brand has consist 72000 rooms and 800 hotels.
Therefore, the hotel also faced many issues in loosing talent employees due to insufficient profits
and customer engagement. The economy goes decline and unbalanced. So that, the report is
going to conduct research through literature sources and appropriate research methods.

To analyse the issue of increased employee turnover in the organization due to
COVID19. The case study on Premier inn.

organisation will face turnover rate, the more they will attain negative position in the market.

refers to number of employees leaving or separating from organisation. The more employees will
get separate, the more organisation will get pressure to their new candidate, provides trainings
and make them familiar with all the work. For an organisation, these turnover could be both good
or bad which depends on the situation and area of working. As low turnover will maintain the
talented and trained employees in the organisation. whereas, high turnover will maintain the
dynamic working environment in which organisation require new and fresh talent which will fill
the vacant position as one employees leaves, other comes. So, the concept is highly relevant for
organisation in hospitality industry. Employees are the crucial part which carries out all the work
activities and helps in achieving organisational aims and objectives. It is required to ascertain
maximum turnover ration as it keep the good brand name into the market.

Employees turnover is being the most important issue in the current time after the
pandemic crises. As the businesses are still unstable as well as facing many problems due to
shortage of employees and skilled labour force. This is due to because of not having enough
potential to pay high salaries to the skilful employees and make them separate from the
company. In Covid-19 pandemic, many employees lost their jobs due to note having profit to pay
salaries. Therefore, it become the most important issue as of now, it become difficult for the
organisation to regain talented employees in the organisation. It creates a a lot of hassle in
researching for the right talent which match with the organisation functions. So that, employees
turnover is the major issue facing by hospitality sector in the market. Due to rising competition
and every business creating scheme and policies for employees welfare. This results in rising
competition to attract new candidates for which they need to many good salaries and work
incentives. These all are become an important concept for job seekers as well as organisation to
save training cost, hiring and selection efforts.

The premier inn has also affected with the impact of Covid-19 which raise their turnover
ratio. As some employees separate by their own and some are asked to leave the company. This
situation comes after the pandemic comes when organisation does not have customer top serve.
This has resulted in great losses and unsustainable condition to pay expenses like salaries, rent an
adopt new technology or assets. Employee turnover has impact on the premier inn in such as way

19 has impacted in the profitability of company. They have employees from different areas and
location and providing remote working opportunities. But these are not giving effective work
performance due to improver training, risk complexities and poor coordination so that,
employees get separate and the hotel has also terminate because of poor financial stability.

Research methods are one of the specific process to conduct the research in a an
appropriate manner. It sets path, methods, approaches, deadlines and sources which are helpful
to achieve research aims and objectives. The researcher is required to choose best methodology
as per the topic and scenario of the project. This researcher will be based on some of following
methods and approaches which are discussed below:
Research philosophy: there are mainly two types of research philosophy which helps in
gaining actual and relevant information. Positivism and interpretivism in which positivism is all
about practical and accurate information. Interpretevism is based on theoretical prospective This
report is based on both philosophy to drive best results.
Research approach: there are two approach name as inductive and deductive. These
approaches are helpful to clear out the systematic research. Inductive is all about design a theory
and carry out research in broader context. Whereas, deductive approach ascertain developing
hypothesis and carry put study on an existing theory. This research is based on deductive
approach.
Research strategy: the strategy helps in performing research as per the set aims and
objectives. It includes how the research will conduct. There are various methods like
questionnaire, survey. This strategy is based on both qualitative and quantitative methods
through questionnaire and literature sources.
Data collection method: there are most vital sources to collect data in an effective
manner. This include both primary and secondary sources. Primary source helps in gaining
relevant and accurate data which is a apart of quantitative method. Secondary research is based
on theoretical prospective which is easy and cost effective. This research is based on both the
method through questionnaire and literature review.
Sampling: It defines as the size and number of individual which will be involve in
conducting research. There are two methods such as probability and non probability. It include

The presentation has concluded that, employee turnover is being the most affected issue
on the market. Due to covid-19, employees have lost their jobs which is the major impact on the
organisation. The presentation shows research aims and objective which is necessary to to carry
out research in an effective manner.
