Executive summary The travel industry is facing so many hurdles due to the pandemic. The result of the pandemic is that it has ceased the operations of the travel industry. The restrictions on the entertainment and fun has resulted into decrease of the performance of the Airbnub company. This projects aims to identify the problems that is being faced by the travel industry due to the pandemic. The main hurdle that is being recognised is that it has reduced the retention of the stake holders in the company because they are not sure to invest more in the company. The project is framed to examine the Covid 19 impact in maintaining the stakeholders for providing the success of the organization(Anguera-Torrell, Vives-Perez and Aznar-AlarcĂłn, 2021).The project would discuss about the impact of the Covid 19 on the present travel industry that is Airbnb. The company Airbnbv is a hospitality and travel company which was established in the year 2008. This company bridges the link between the needy person who needs home and the person who has vacant houses. In this way, it services to both the parties. The project would study about how Airbnb has been facing problems in Covid 19 pandemic time period. It would also discuss about thedifferent literature reviews and sources in order to gain the effective informationfortheorganizationperformance.Ithasalsooutlinedthestrategiesand recommendations with respect to this. The company forms a bridge between these two people. It was established in 2008 by two college friends named as Gebbia and Chesky. The headquarter of the company is situated in California, US. There was a sudden hike in the performance of the company of about 8% in 2010 and 2011. After this, the company established its various institutions at various different places all over the globe. Loan has been sanctioned by investors and other stakeholder as they believed in getting a suitable or decent return on their investment because Airbnb had an effective vision or mission for a loner time period. As respective company is able to function smoothly by building trust and configuration, so it is very beneficial for its stakeholders(Fung, Tsui and Hon, 2020).Airbnb is facing issue of customer's retaining and its stakeholder are not providing satisfactory facilities on sites. It is analysed that customer had battered home and rental space that impact the respective company adversely. Airbnb is also lacking in maintaining a healthy environment which is a major challenges for respective company. To identify impact of the COVID 19 on revenue's growth of Airbnb As per the (Shen and Wilkoff, 2020), Pandemic create various ups and downs for the tourism or hospitality industry. Companies like Airbnb had also face negative impact of the lock down and COVID 19.this situation has slow down the revenue's growth of respective company as customer's were cancelling their booking due to lock down. Tourism or hospitality industry face a hug loss as various business were shut down due to which company as unable to pay a return on the investment. It create a conflict among between the organisation and other parties. Due to COVID 19, there was an inflation within entire economy that lead to a reduction in purchasing power as stakeholder were not able to contribute in business success. As resulting, there was a low capitalism withinAirbnb. By this impact of a low capitalism respective firm is 3
unable to provide better services to its customer. Due to which, customer shift on other companies. Thus, company has face a big loss that impact its revenue's generation as well as profitability(Guo, and et. al., 2022). To examine effective strategies for reattainment of the stake holders in success of Airbnb for a long term According tothe (Polisetty and Kurian,2021), it is identified that stakeholder are most significant partners of a business that need can be satisfied with the purpose to get a success in business for a long time period. Therefore, it become compulsory for the organisations like Airbnbthattheymakeproperstrategiessothatcustomer'sinvolvementorstockholder's participation can be improved. By following the safety regulation properly, company can attain this objective. Airbnb need to promote its services constantly after COVID 19 and make different efforts to attract customers in large number. There should be particular law framework for the customers. Therefore company should give best and effective facilities to the customers that not harm sentiments and intentions of its stakeholders ad will be awarded e with better services and profitability.
