Introduction
Covid-19 global pandemic has impacted adversely on the overall performance and
management of an organisation. Tourism is one of the most affected industry by COVID-19 and
is also affecting on the livelihood, economies, public services globally (Škare, Soriano and
Porada-Rochoń, 2021). The Tourism industry falls adversely and many of them were shut down
as they are not able to bear the expenses and maintain its performance level. For conducting the
present research, VisitBritain is chosen as a base company. It is one of the national Tourism
agency that is mainly responsible for marketing Britain worldwide. The oragnisation was
established in year 20001 and is working with travel operators, UK trade and investment, official
tourism bodies of London and so on. The main objective of investigation is to identify influence
COVID-19 global pandemic on business performance and management of tourism.

COVID-19 global pandemic.
Research problem
COVID-19 has impacted adversely on the business performance and management of
tourism global as there are lot of travel restrictions are implemented by government for dealing
with the issue and to save people from the infection. Along with this, there are many issues faced
by tourism companies such as decline leisure travels and business travels, lockdown, shit down
of business, decrease performance and many more. There are many tourism companies who are
not even able to survive as they are not able to bear the expenses. The present study will assist to
analyse the influence COVID-19 global pandemic on business performance and management of

tourism. Moreover, it will further assist Tourism organisation to develop effective strategies so
that they can deal with situation and maintain performance at marketplace.
