Introduction
The present section of the report is entirely based upon the pandemic that how it affected
the entire life of the people along with fluctuation noticed on economy. For that, the report is
based upon the ONS data in order to generate the better outcome and understand how pandemic
affected the entire social life, healthcare into negative manner. In order to present the answer,
graphical representation will be used that help to present the data in more systematic manner.
Covid-19 in UK
The entire world is affected negatively due to pandemic and this in turn reflected that all
the business shut their business except the essential services. This is because the government put
a strict lockdown in the countries and this shaken the economic condition of the company into
negative manner (Rezel-Potts and et.al., 2022). Further, there has been a rapid fall identified
within the overall economy of a country and this in turn shows that it affect the entire system
along with business operations.
Further, the above graph it has been clearly indicated that there is a fluctuating trend
identified within the death rate of the country and this in turn shows that the death rate of the
country is keep increases from the starting of the year. The rationale for the same is such that the
medical team of the country do not have enough equipment in order to combat from the situation
and this lead to increase the death rate of the country. However, there is a sudden fall identified

at the end of 2020 which is due to create awareness and individuals taken their own precautions.
This in turn reflected that initially, medial system is not able to cope with the situation and this
cause negative impact over the country.
Covid-19 on healthcare in UK
The healthcare facility offered by the UK government at the time of pandemic is worst
because the officers were not prepared effectively in order to cope up the situation. This is
because the number of increasing cases along with death rate. Apart from this, a strict lockdown
also restrict the transportation and this also contribute to increase the number of cases within a
country (Chen and Lucock, 2022). Hence, it has been identified that the situation of the country
is deteriorating due to lack of healthcare facility and expertise in order to improve the situation.
As per the above graph, it has been also identified that the total cases of coronavirus is
around 20413731 as per the data provided by the government which in turn indicated that the
country is highly suffered by the covid patients. Along with this, the number of deaths registered
till the March 2022 is 164123 which is highest. This is all because the medical staff is not well
prepared to provide strategies to improve the situation and as a result, the cases increases initially
along with the death rates. However, the recovered rate is also good because there were around
20233530 cases recovered and this in turn reflected that there were minimum death cases as
compared to other by the end of the pandemic in the year 2022.
