The spread and strength of the recovery is determined by the health, humanitarian and social economic policies. The world was not prepared, when the coronavirus disease started to spread. The COVID-19 is directly affected by the public finance. One third of the mortality worldwide is responsiblefortheinfectiousdisease.Thespreadofinfectiousdiseaseisrisingdueto globalisationandincreasedtravelandtradeduetodespitemajordevelopmentsinthe pharmaceutical industry. Characteristics of historical pandemic outbreaks can be analysed through coronavirus pandemic. Health sector and the forgone earnings are affected by the equilibrium approach. It does not consider the other parts of the country and other sectors (Beh, L.S. and Lin, W.L., 2022). The report includes the impact of the COVID – 19 on the UK country. The economic, social and healthcare sector are also affected by these viruses. Further this report includes the effect of online learning on the country. TASK 1 Covid – 19 impact on UK Global Covid-19 pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) adversely affected UK, causes induced market instability and lockdown.Impact on major areas are – 1.Housebuilding and house sales– Due to lockdown in UK, around 30% drop in sales of house reduces the government revenue(Best and et.al, 2021). 2.Construction– Reduced construction work as government halt all the activities in UK affectingemployeejobs,programmedelays,risingcostscaused35%dropin productivity. 3.Food retail-Food and daily needs businesses was less affected in Covid-19 as government allows home delivery for basic items and due to Covid-19, sales of sanitizer and healthy items increases and the trend of being healthy is still going on. 4.Hospitality– due to lockdown and social distancing clubs, restaurants and pub affected the most, a survey shows that 83% of workforce furloughed but as social distancing rules were relaxing hospitality sector is on the track. 5.Transport –introduction of lockdown in late march, reduce traffic volumes resulting in drop of fuel rate, with corresponding rise in air quality. Covid-19 impact has been broad, affecting general people, global economy,
culture, politics and culture in UK.Covid-19 outcomes are-UK cost of living crisis, Decrease in government income, Stress on supply chains, Sharp rise in unemployment, Collapse of the tourism industry, Reduced consumer activity. Impact of Covid-19 on health care The health care services in the UK during the pandemic has came through with various challenges.Limited testing was done during the period of first wave being the reason for less reporting of cases and deaths(Campbell and et.al, 2021). Covid cases increased during the second wave and in third wave a new virus, delta, affected the large population of the UK. Major impact seen was reduction in the usage of healthcare for other than COVID diseases. During the pandemic, the healthcare services in the UK related to survival rate of cancer patients, recovery from heart diseases and cure from other diseases and infection was majorly reduced. However, the performance of healthcare system of UK related to vaccinations, cure of diabetes, cheaper drugs for curing various diseases was noted well during this period. Decrease in the hospital staff during the pandemic increased the pressure to provide care and services in the hospitals. The pandemic affected the demand for the healthcare services and also the supply of the services due to less staffing. Decrease in the demand and increase in missing appointments led to increase in the worsening of the health of the patients(Mukhtar, 2020). Less supply of services due to low staffing has resulted in long waiting time for the patients who even are in critical condition. Also, the mental health of the population has been affected resulting in increase in the number of

The impact of Covid-19 on the social care of the UK Formation of policy by governmentregarding Covid-19 and living a lifestyle in Covid phase,impacts social culture through which all segments of the population like people living in poverty,olderpersons,persons with disability and indigenous people(Ng and et.al, 2020). 1.Facemask–Around 85% of adults in UK wore face mask as they felt wearing a face mask is an important part to slow down the spread of coronavirus infection and also become a fashion trend. 2.Physical distancing–Around 41% of adults maintained social distancing as they felt it is an important factor through which a significant number of people adapt to stand in queue with distancing(Pradhan, Ghose and Shabbiruddin., 2020). 3.Physical interaction–most people around 80% avoided physical contact and got at habit of carrying sanitizer along with mask to prevent spread of Covid. 4.Self-isolation–human beings isolate themselves for approximately 14days inan isolated room resulting in health issues like stress etc. 5.Well-being measures–Covid impacts all fourwellbeingmeasures,with lifesatisfaction, happiness and anxiety appears higher from normal times(Schleicher, 2020). 6.Location of work- Many companies especially IT one started work from home for their employees,due towhich employeesdidn't get a satisfaction at site resulting in job quit.
