INTRODUCTION When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, many countries including UK were forced to close all the borders, turning the scramble to protect lives of people. The present report will discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the life in UK. Report will further present the data and interpretation of Coronavirus Deaths in UK along with line charts. In addition to this, it will shed light on the impact of Covid-19 on healthcare in UK with the help of pie chart. Lastly, it will outline the impact on economy of UK with the help of bar chart. MAINBODY Impact of Covid-19 in UK in general The Covid-19 has affected the lives of people in UK like the health, social, economic and behavioural changes. It has affected all the age groups from children to adolescents to old generations. Lock down has affected the mental health as well because people were having high levels of anxiety and depression attacks. Due to social isolation, marginalized and vulnerable populations were affected badly (Loomba and et.al., 2021). The affected people did not even have proper income, employment or access to food which further led affected their physical well-being. The government intervention of providing food supply did not do much to mitigate the shocks and there were still gaps in provision of basic amenities. Social restrictions imposed on public confined them to stay in their homes for longer time periods which increased the exploitation and harassment on women and girls, especially. Each daywerebringingnewconfirmeddeathsandhospitalizations(COVID-19intheUnited Kingdom: Assessing jobs at risk and the impact on people and places,2021). The pattern in England, Wales and Ireland were very serious with so many deaths of older people and to those who were having hypertension, diabetes and heart diseases.

The line graph shows data variables and trends very precisely and a person can easily evaluate the results from line chart. It shows that the deaths in initial days of March were very high which is recorded at 225 deaths on 1stMarch 2021. The line graph is showing a decreasing trend, that is, it is moving downwards from upper left to bottom right. It means that deaths due to Covid-19 has decreased from 1stMarch to 31stMarch 2021. Line graph has shows continuous decrease in the trend which shows that death because of Covid-19 has decreased regularly without any increase. Impact of Covid-19 on healthcare in UK According to a survey, it is known that only one third of people in UK managed to go to the hospital for proper treatment they required during the 1stwave of Coronavirus pandemic. Ot also gave rise to lower physical activity, increase in no. of home accidents and musculoskeletal disorders (Blake and et.al., 2020). However, it has some positive impact also i.e. there was low transmission of diseases other than Covid-19 which helped in reducing the injuries and lesser no. of road accidents and injuries were reported. For diseases other than Covid-19, people were not ready to take medical help in hospitals because they had feared they will get in touch with Covid patients and will be infected. In addition to this, people were forced to work from home which led to musculoskeletal problems

doctors prescription. The table shows that 86.78% people were recovered from Covid-19 which is a good sign on part of healthcare workers who did wonderful job in treating patients. Impact of Covid-19 on Economy of UK Covid-19 has affected the financial markets, employment, shipping industries and other industries, etc. Many of the construction sites were operational initially but after sometimes, were forced to stop the work because some workers breached the contract of social distancing. On the other hand, British supermarkets ensured continuous supply of goods because people were panic buying (Keogh-Brown and et.al., 2020). The list included huge no. of hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial products. Online retailers said that people were placing orders in huge quantity and larger packs. The bar graph shows that the unemployment level was very less in January 2021 which increased continuously and reached its highest level by June 2021. Unemployment level increased from 1364 in January to 1451 in June. Impact of Covid-19 on Social life The Covid-19 pandemic has caused devastation to millions of people in UK, making them fall in poverty. The no. of undernourished people are estimated at 690 million currently. It has affected the homeless people to a large extent which were unable to find a safe place for shelter, not having access to clean running water, etc. (Aughterson and et.al., 2021). They were hit the hardest because of limited movements, lesser employment opportunities and increased racism. On the other hand, older people were not just struggling with physical health, but they were also not capable of supporting themselves due to social distancing and isolation. CONCLUSION From the above report, it can be concluded that Covid-19 has affected very badly on UK on its healthcare, economy, social life and in general as well. People were not having any employment and were facing major financial problems, were not having access to basic amenities of life and had to face a lot of issues. On the other hand, it can also be said that social isolation and distancing has led to fewer road accidents and injuries and decreased spread of influenza and other deadly diseases.
