EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Cannabinoids are being in many states prescribed by doctors to treat symptoms like pain,
inflammation, anxiety and many more. Phtyocannabinoids from Cannabis sativa are used in
treating cancer due to its antitumour properties which may be applied as lotion of liquid. High
consumption of such chemical may be harmful and can cause hallucinations, depression,
dizziness and fast heartbeat. Cytoxan, Abraxane, Doxil are some drugs which are being utilised
against different kind of cancer.

INTRODUCTION
Cannabinoids have been defined as a chemical substance which effectively interacts with
the cannabinoid receptor of individuals body as well brain which produces some psychoactive
effects on a human body (Velasco and et.al., 2016). Such chemicals are regarded as medical
marijuana which are being specifically suggested to overcome symptoms like anxiety,
inflammation as well as pain which may be caused by number of health or environmental factors.
This report will focus on the use of cannabinoid by patient suffering from cancer. The potential
side effects will also be covered in this report.

different receptor in body to eliminate the negative outcomes of cancer.

The optimum usage of Cannabinoids can be effective in treating many symptoms of
disease but extensive and constant use can be very dangerous to the human body. Such utilisation
may lead in depression and hallucination (Aggarwal, 2016). People are often observed to get
dizziness all the time which can make their productivity in work very less and they frequently
influence their power of taking decision and making judgements. The person start to experience
low blood pressure which raise the probability of getting heart attacks or strokes. Some of the
drugs which are being used for treating cancer are Abraxane, which treat breast cancer. Cytoxan
is another drug which suppress immune system and used in chemotherapy and Doxil which are
used in breast, bladder cancer or in leukaemia.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be conclude that Cannabinoids are being used as medical
marijuanas by various patients to lower the harmful symptoms of many disease including cancer.
Phtyocannabinoids are used in treating cancer but over usage of such drugs may cause
depression, low blood pressure or hallucination.
