The children are nowadays getting badly affected by the smartphones since the parents are also addictive to the smartphones in the recent times (Price, 2018). Some of the social scholars have said that the use of smartphones has been destroying the new generation and causing harm to the kids. This will be very important to address this issue from different angles and views (Page, 2018).It is crucial to discuss whether the use of smart phones is ruining the career of the students or it is okay for them. Excessive use of smartphones by kids The psychologists of the modern period have expressed their concerns over the excessive use of the smartphones by the kids (Anderson, 2018). The rise of the smartphones and the social media has completely distracted the minds of the students from their studies. However, psychologist like Sarah Rose Cavanagh has opined in her article that the smartphones are not all destroying the life of the kids and their future because it has some serious and good points as well (Cavanagh, 2017). The deterioration of the kids are inherent in their phones as stated by Jean Twenge. Sarah has presented some points in order to establish her views that the too much use of mobile phones will not cause the harm in the academic and professional careers of the students. She has presented the idea that the use of the smartphones by the kids will be important to build up the resilience within them. Thus they can be more patient in handling the issues within their domain (Twenge, 2017).
2CREATING MODERATION OF SMARTPHONES TO KIDS On the other hand Jean Twenge has presented the ideas in a manner that the life and minds of the kids are getting destroyed just because their parents are letting them use the smartphones too much (Twenge, 2017).. The researchers in this field have only observed the fact that the use of the social media through the smartphones has been causing the depression among the kids and they are feeling very lonely and separated from the families and the society. Only some months ago, the dangerous and suicidal games likeBlue Whalewas on the top trending list and many kids got almost addicted to this game. Finally numerous kids had committed the suicide by playing this game (Cavanagh, 2017). The researcher had gone through the study on a range of variables that did not use the smartphones in their routine. They wanted to find out what these kids did in their free times. Some of the psychologists have also opined that the use of the smartphones by these kids have decreased the range of extracurricular activities (Twenge, 2017). The negative effects of using the smartphones by kids The psychologists like Catherine Price has discussed over this issue a number of times since she believes that the ill impacts of using the smartphones by kids should be stopped or at least controlled (Price, 2018). Otherwise this will clearly destroy the creative activities of the children in numerous ways. Some psychologists have also added the fact that most of the contemporary smartphones and mobile apps are designed in such a way that they are very much addictive indeed (Cavanagh, 2017). Catherine Price has also developed some strategies by which the kids can be free of the several hazards caused by the use of the smartphones. The kids are not at all learning to spend their times with their parents and siblings. Rather they are completely addicted to their smartphones and spend their times with the social media, various apps and games and others (Price, 2018). Even the girls are spending their times with the

This is a huge concern that the kids are getting addicted to the world of social media and committing several activities of nuisance. This has been hampering their social life as well. The general outcome of the use of the smartphones is that they are becoming very much individualistic, short-tempered, moody and self-centered. These are seriously problematic matters for the growth of the kids in the social atmosphere (Anderson, 2018). Thus it can be said that the use of the smartphones can really be harmful for the overall growth of the kids from their academic and professional angles. The abrupt mood swings in the teenagers have also been seen from time to time. This is why it would be very important to discuss how the excessive use of the smartphones can really ruin the growth of the kids. The teenagers only want the freedom and independence in the society and they believe they will be able to achieve it through knowing the way outs by the blessings of social media (Twenge, 2017). Thus it leads to their alienation from the society and parents. Conclusion As per the above discussion, the paper can be concluded by saying that the use of smartphones in an excessive manner will surely do harm to the current modern generation as it will distract them from their targets. The kids will not be able to shift their focus to their academic life because they are completely addicted to the smartphones. This is surely going to ruin their careers if their parents do not care for this. Their connection with the physical society is decreasing while their inclination towards the virtual society is on the rise.
