1. Introduction
Ideas, activities and initiatives and activities are very much useful to ensure the
success of a business. Process mapping is defined as the type of tool which are used by the
organizational leaders which illustrates the flow of work. The series of events required in the
commercial process can be understood with the help of the process mapping. Thus, it can be
understood that process mapping can help to improve the overall performance of any
commercial establishment.
2. Background study
Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness has numerous issues which will be evaluated in this
report with the help of a process map, RACI chart, a small business case and FMEA. The
prime issues faced in this private organization are rivalry coming from Gold Gym,
management of the equipment suppliers, selection of the prices of the services provided
by the organization, management of the government policies, managing the
infrastructure costs.
3. Process map
The constraints which creates each of this problems can be identified in the first place
with the help of the process map. There are diverse categories of process maps which helps to
evaluate a process in a commercial setting such as the basic flowchart, high level process
map, and detailed process map. The basic flowchart process map regarding the challenges
faced by Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness is illustrated below.

Based, on the above diagram it can be said that there are diverse categories of
challenges which are faced in this commercial organization such as the management of the
equipment supplier which occurs due to the dynamic cost of nutritional supplements,
government policies which occurs due to changes in political authority, management of the
infrastructure cost which might occur due to the increase in electricity and rents, and
formation of new market competitors such as Gold Gym.

4. RACI chart
The participation of each stakeholder involved in a project can be understood in the
first place with the help of a RACI matrix (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and
Informed). There are other elements which is also there in the RACI matrix such as Driver,
and Support. The RACI matrix which can address the challenges faced by Miti Maloo’s
Anytime Fitness is illustrated below.

5. Business Case
The problems coming from the constraints of this fitness centre can be solved
effectively with the help of a Management Information System (MIS).

 Background of the project: Business challenges faced by Miti Maloo’s Anytime
Fitness is having an adverse effect on the business of this organization. Each of their
business challenges can be addressed in the first place with the help of a MIS.
 Business benefits: Both the internal and the external business environment of Miti
Maloo’s Anytime Fitness can be monitored with the help of the MIS. New price
selection strategy can also be created using the MIS, at the same time this system can
also help this organization to deal with the increasing infrastructure cost.
 Cost of the project: The total cost of enacting an advanced MIS in the business
environment of Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness is CAD $50000. The cost of enacting
the system is CAD $30000 and the other CAD $10000 is for the resources who will
be taking a huge role to enact the new system in this business.
 Gap analysis: Financial performance of the organization shall be evaluated before
and after the completion of this project so that the effectiveness of MIS can be
enjoyed by the owners of this business. The role of the project manager will be very
significant to create the gap analysis report to identify whether the challenges are
addressed using MIS or not.
 Expected risks: Hardware and software failure are the prime risks involved in this
project, along with this risk selection of the appropriate business continuity plan is the
other risk involved in this project.

7. Change in work culture required in Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness
The values and mission of the project has to be understood by every stakeholder of
the business. The human resources policies has to be revised after the incorporation of the
MIS as the employees shall face lot of challenges while working with the new MIS. Open
communication must be there among the stakeholders of this business which can help to
maintain a positive work culture in this business.
8. Role of a leader to implement the change
The role of the change manager is also very much significant for the incorporation of
am MIS in Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness. The change manger must be creating a sense of
urgency among the employees regarding the incorporation of the MIS. The change manager

of this organization must be engaging the employees of this business in such a manner so that
the commitment level of the employees is enhanced.
8.1 Description of roles and responsibilities
The prime responsibility of the change manager is to ensure effective communication
so that the uncertainties of the project and the risks of the business is addressed. Identification
and managing the resistances is also one of the key role of the change manager in this
scenario.
9. Conclusion
Business success can be maintained with the help of process mapping. Incorporation
of MIS can help Miti Maloo’s Anytime Fitness to deal with their business challenges such as
the business rivalry from Gold Gym, managing the infrastructure cost, managing the changes
in the government policies and managing the availability of the equipment software. The
incorporation of MIS can evaluate both the external and internal business environment of this
organization. The effectiveness of the new system can be identified from the gap analysis
report which has to be created by the project manager. The role of the change manager of this
business is very much significant to bring the necessary changes in the work culture.
Employee engagement capabilities, ensuring effective communication among the employees,
management of the internal resistances are the most desired responsibilities of the change
manager in this scenario.
