CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION2Introduction:The aim of this assignment is to come up with an innovative idea for mowing thelawn. It is a common observation that people do not actually enjoy mowing the lawn and itremains overdue for a longer time (Ishii et al., 2018). The idea is to generate some idea thatwould help in reducing the burden of mowing the lawn. Task 1:The major issues that the people face related to mowing the lawn have been found tobe the extra effort that the person has to make in order to mow the lawn. The mowingmachines are usually very big and it requires too much strength to operate one. Moving thehuge machine from one corner of the garden to the other is really tiring. People usually prefermowing on their off-days but owing to the intense effort that they have to make in order tomow the lawn, the idea of mowing only gets postponed. Thus, the idea to overcome this issueis to reduce the heavy weight of the machine and also to bring some flexibility in the machineso that it can be handled easily. In order to achieve this, the machine might not be durableand that the machines could be used twice or thrice to mow the lawn. Selection of 5 principles:1.Anti-weight: The machine will not have too many parts and will have only necessaryblades to cut the grass.2.Beforehand cushioning: In order to make the machine easy to operate, a cushioningtechnique can be used. 3.Spheroidality- Curvature: The shape has to be inclined so that the machine can beused even to mow the lawn from the various corners. 4.Dynamic: The parts can be flexible as well and the user can easily change the partsaccording to the need of the mowing the lawn.
