INTRODUCTION
Creativity is defined as the tendency which is related to generate as well as recognise
ideas, possibilities and alternatives that help entrepreneur to solve problems that enhance overall
performance and functionality. It is the ability that enable an individual to come up with new
ideas that enable them to identify new way as well as different way to looking problems and
opportunities. Innovation is defined as the implementation of new ideas at individual, group and
organisational level (Klein and et. al., 2020). Creativity and innovation is important for
enterprise to gain competitive advantages and attain opportunities. This report covers self-audit
that includes current skills, skills that are developed through module and required skills for
become effective researcher and effective enterprise manager. There are various self assessment
tools also explained and along with that SMART action plan for becoming effective researcher
and an effective enterprise manager is mentioned in this project report.

Self audit on current skills
Oral and written communication skills: I have effective oral and written communication
skills that enable me to communicate all related information to others in understandable manner
that create mutual understanding. I have efficient writing skills that helps me to prepare
assignment and projects in presentable way.
Leadership skill: I have efficient leadership skill that help me to lead the team and move
it in right direction to active determined goals and objective manner. It enables me to organise
others actions and efforts to reach defined shared goals. With having leadership skill, I am able
to motivate other people to perform a series of task as per schedule (Maxwell and et. al., 2020) .
I have some other skills that help me to lead people such as creativity, effective feedback, team
building, active listening and patience.
Learning and adaptability skills: I have ability to learn new things in efficient manner
and adopt changes efficiently that help me to become competitive. It helps me to being able to
learn new skills as well as behaviour in the response to changing circumstance.

There are various skills are develop during this module that help me to achieve career
goals and objectives in efficient manner. Some skills that are developed during this module are
mentioned below:
Teamwork skill: I have learnt team working skills through this module because I have
worked in team to complete projects and assignment. Teamwork helps me to perform functions
to achieve common shared goals. It helps in future as well as to work in team for accomplishing
determined goals and objectives in efficient manner.
Critical thinking skills: Critical thinking is the ability helps me to collect related new
information and determine how these informations are used in best possible manner. It helps me
to take efficient decisions that help to attain determined career goals and objectives in proper
way.
Time management skill: I have learnt time management skills during the module that
help me to perform defined operations according to time (van Ooijen and Vrabec, 2019). I have
strong organisational skill that help me to manage all goals according to defined time period and
track results to meet their deadlines. It helps in my career planning as well to arrange all action
plan activities in efficient as well as systematic manner.
Skills need to develop to become an effective researcher in Capstone project
Capstone project is the complex assignment that includes number of steps and action as a
capping intellectual and academic experience at the end of academic study. It is the final
assignment of academic years that signifieds the peak of achievement. There are number of skills
and capabilities are required to become an effective researcher are explained below:
Project management skills: I think that, to become an effective and efficient researcher
project management skill that help to manage all project activities and develop high-quality
planning. As per my view, project management skill help to create step by step plan and reach
too final goals and objectives of project. Students require to research on external findings to
collect necessary information to complete Capstone project.
Handling data: I realised that in research various types of data is being collected such as
qualitative, quantitative, statistical and others. Management of data is the skill that enable student
to conclude the research and findings and use them to prepare Capstone project in effective

Communication and motivational skills: Communication is the most important skill
which is required for organisational manager to convey all project and policy related
informational to all members of enterprise that enable them to perform all defined operations in
efficient manner (Shioji and et. al., 2017). As per my point of view, for manage it is important to
have motivational skills to motivate employees and lead them in right direction that enhance
their working performance and contribution in attaining business goals and objectives.
Organisation skills: Business managers are on the position of leadership. I have analysed
that business managers have to perform various roles and responsibilities so, effective
organisation skills are required to perform different functions in systematic and efficient way
(Schubert and et. al., 2020). As per my perspective, organisation of job roles as well as
delegation of responsibility among employees according to their skills and interest area helps
manager to attain business objectives in efficient manner.
Problem-solving skill: Spotting problem and solving it is the basic activity that is related
to managerial position. I think that, it is important for an individual to pay attention on details
and remain calm under pressure. Effective problem solving skills help to manager to manage
critical situations in business, improve team working performance and ensure smooth workflow.
Creative thinking helps managers to come up with innovative solutions that help to minimise the
impacts of conflicts on team members and whole organisation.

SWOT analysis: Swot analysis is defined as the framework which is used to determined
strength, weakness, opportunities and threats. It helps an individual to develop strategic planning
to improve weak skills for the purpose of attaining career goals and objectives on time. Factors

efficient manner.
Weaknesses: Organisation skill is the area in which I am weak and it impacts my working
performance and efficiency as well (Leichtmann and Nitsch, 2020). It affect me because
of disorganisation my work is being delayed. Interpersonal skill is my weak area that need to be improved because it unable me to
interact as well as work with others. It impacts on my working performance, decision
making process and handling situations.
Opportunities: Learning and adaptability are the skills that enable me to gain various career
development opportunities. These skills allow me to learn new things and adopt changes
in efficient manner. Problem-solving and critical thinking are the skill that help me to analyse the situation
and make appropriate solutions to resolve the problems. It helps me to reduce conflicts
and improve working performance.
Threats:
Financial management skill is the factor that create threat for me because I an lacking in
handling financial resources efficiently that are assigned to specific work or project
assignment.
