Criminal justice program The criminal justice program in the community is purported to offer rehabilitation programs for those involved in the various kinds of crimes such as murder, culpable homicide, drug abuse and various violent activities such as battery and assault. The mission, goals and objectives of the program are to treat offenders through correctional means by offering reformative service instead of being detained for a certain period (Higgins & Vito, 2015). The possible outcomes of the reformatory measures include the emergence of the people undergoing such treatment as better human beings, reduction of crime rate at the area concerned and fostering of humanity in the local community in the US with regard to the treatment of criminals. These outcomes are intended to make the criminal justice program a success thereby helping it to attain its mission and aims in a timely manner and serving the community in an effective and efficient manner. These outcomes may also be a result of more and more people in the local community being inducted into the program. The programs are also aimed at counseling the offenders in such a manner so that they do not indulge in criminal and violent activities in the future (American Psychological Association, 2009). It is imperative that the objectives involve a humane approach towards the correction of the criminals.
