Defination
Bias: It can be defined as tendency to favour one person and ignore other.
Discrimination: To discriminate the person on the bases of race, religion, age,
gender etc. is called discrimination.
Prejudice: It is the injury which is caused by judgement.
Oppression: Cruel treatment which is given by employer to their employees
is called as oppression.

wages and higher authorities are not providing them equal rights and opportunities as well.

UK.

Macpherson report
• In this report, police measures and their control over public have been
discussed. Rights of victims in crime has been described.
• Government inspectors are given power to inspect police department and
their services.

Lammy report
• lammy has paid attention on allowances that are needed to be amde for
young defendants. Still people are facing discrimination due to part of
justice system.
• After this justice system also problems related to racial prejudice are
increasing.

of public. Cuture of Britain are :

Workers make difference
• Workers have right to make their trade union who can stand for the
employees.
• If any person is facing discrimination or biassess behaviour in the
workplace then this trade union fight for them for protecting their rights.

Current social attitudes to sentencing policy
• Societal attitude plays significant role in increasing crime rate.
• Britishers are dissatisfied with law of the nation and justice system that is
the main reason that they are committing crimes.

Values and ethics
• Ethical consideration plays significant
role.
• Justice system is required to maintain
their values and have to follow ethical
aspect so that satisfaction level of
persons can be increased.

Conclusion
• From the above study it can be concluded that current justice system is also
in efficient in order to minimize racial discrimination.
• Government needs to improve police department so that such type of case
can be minimized.
