Introduction
Nigeria is one of the biggest oil and gas producers in Africa and it
supplies oil and gases across the world. Crude oil from the delta basin
comes in two kinds of processes: light and comparatively large lighter. A
recent study identified that the Nigerian national petroleum corporation
is the sixth largest oil and gas generator company in the world. This
research focuses on the methods and techniques to enhance the
productivity of oil and gas production in Nigeria and critically review the
key aspects of oil and gas production activities used by Nigeria. It is
estimated that Nigeria has reserves of 28 billion barrels of oil and 165
trillion standard cubic feet of gas that helps them for improving their
productivity and efficiency in the field of oil or gas suppliers (Abdul-
Rahamoh, Taiwo, and Adejare, 2013). This report will involve a literature
review in order to understand the viewpoints of other researchers and
analysed the methods which increase the productivity of Nigeria. With
the help of a literature review, the results and findings of previous
studies will be discussed and a time plan will be produced that shows the
time taken by each milestone while completing the research project.
Various kinds of research methodologies will be examined for improving
the effectiveness of the research and gather fresh and relevant
information about the research topic.

 To analyse various steps used to improve the productivity of
Nigeria
 To gain knowledge in the field of oil and gas production activities
 To discuss the problems and issues faced by Nigeria while
producing oil and gas
Literature review
It is observed that there are numerous authors provided their views on
this topic and highlighted the techniques to improve the performance of
oil and gas production activities that helped Nigeria for improving
productivity. The key aim of this literature section is to critically analyse
the oil and gas production activity and evaluated the results and findings
of previous research studies along with their drawbacks.
According to Ajugwo, (2013) Nigeria is one of the biggest oil and gas
producers in the world and it is a 12th producer of oil and gas worldwide.
This journal paper discussed the key aspects of oil and gas production
activities and provided an in-depth analysis of the research topic. Mainly,
the crude oil process of formation leads to a central point of economic
analysis and it is very difficult to produce oil and gases but Nigeria uses
advanced technologies and systems for monitoring the complete process.
The researchers assumed that biological life forms are not the only
process of producing crude oil and gas.
Mainly, the major problem linked with oil and gas production is the cost
of equipment that also faced by Nigeria. The author suggested that the
appropriate way for reducing the cost of oil production in Nigeria is to
adopt the proper control of crude oil well effluent at the surface which
can help Nigeria for improving the rate of profitable. Babalola, (2012)
identified the lack of proper resources can produce a problem for
generating oil and gas in Nigeria which also affects the overall
performance of Nigeria. Therefore, the management team of Nigeria
