INTRODUCTION
The critical care is defined as the aspect which may focus on the different working and
making coordination with the doctor and specialist in order to make the access for the good
health and monitor the critical ill patient which is showing the aspect which is well related with
the unit of basic care. In addition, the critical care nursing may show the aspect that is supportive
for the chronic illness. Nurses assist the patient with proper support and care in such a way which
help to recover the situation. Therefore, it is also determined that the critical care nursing have
the advance scenario where nurses used play vital role in order to provide proper care and health
to the number of patients chronic condition such as cancer, cardiovascular disease and many
more which require assistance and monitoring. In this report, the discussion is based on four
article which is well related with the significance of the critical care nursing and the challenge
which may faced by the nurse within the critical care nursing. In addition, the proper elaboration
of the report is well concentrated on critical care nursing (Brown, Johnson, McMillan, and
Brandon, 2018).
MAIN BODY
According to the article one as per author Stenquist. A, (2020) the significance of the critical
care nursing is usually involved with the working with the doctor and the specialist in order to
make the assess, treatment and monitoring which is critically based on the patient which is ill in
situation and condition while the other is also providing their basic care (Valizadeh and et. al.,
2020). The typical shift is an also challenging context that face by nurses in critical care that
assessing the patient situation and their condition with the starting of treatment and medication.
Therefore, the vital sign that must be communicated with the healthcare practitioner and
planning good care plan by providing medication which is based on patient complication. There
are number of time ICU which is well ventilated or have the multiple Iv drips (Koons, and
Siebert, 2020). Therefore, they require more knowledge which is well related with the equipment
and charting than the other registered nurses.
According to the viewpoint of Tomohide, (2020) the critical care nurse is also showing the
aspect which is usually show the aspect which assess the treating of patient, it is fairly show the
aspect which is related with the patient which see the nurse in the ICU before the doctor

expected to make proper analysis of the patient condition and coordinate with the doctor and
other staff to make a care plan which is implemented in such a way which help the patient to deal
with pain and quick recovery (Tume and et. al., 2022). Therefore, it may include some of the
aspect which is well related with the everything from he taking of vital signs which is well
related with the dressing of wound. The critical care nurses also focus on the patient condition
and make proper evaluation and documentation and also support families (Everything You Need
to Know About Critical Care Nursing, 2020). Therefore, the critical care nurse also shows the
aspect which is well related with the monitoring of equipment where number of critical care
patient will set the cardiac monitors or the ventilator so their nurse that will be the charge which
is setting up those machine and regular monitoring and tracking towards the patient progress.
The critical care nurses are showing their significance which may related with the ICU patient
where they perform monitoring by using the equipment such as ECG, and so on that provide
update of health condition of patient and the report is shared with doctor for change that also
promote recovery of patient. Therefore, issue which showing the aspect that cover the specific
aspect that is related with the ICU patient with chronic condition (Lucchini and et.al., 2019).
According to the perspective of Hironori, (2020) In addition, the critical care nurses are
usually face various of issue which is related with the patient with the chronic situation. The
workload and major stress which is related with the proper monitoring of patient with the proper
documentation is well related with challenge which may create complication (Impact of having a
certified nurse specialist in critical care nursing as head nurse on ICU patient outcomes, 2020).
Therefore, the patient requires all time support which may show the aspect of 24 hours of service
that must needed by the patient. It is a challenging aspect for the nurses to deliver the care and
support which is focus on the current requirement (Okumura and et. al., 2019).
According to the Beata Dobrowolska, (2022) this all aspect is challenging for the nurses to
deal and it create stress and anxiety due to the excess of workload which may see within the
critical care nursing. In addition, the role and responsibilities within the critical care nursing are
used to provided in such a way which may create aspect where the patient requirement are
fulfilled (Special Issue "Intensive and Critical Care Nursing Research" 2022). Therefore, the
proper support and care to the patient for the 24 hours may create stress situation for the nurses
because it is challenging to nurses that they show availability for 24 hours to the patient by one
nurse. (Lucchini, Iozzo, and Bambi, 2020).
