Education Technology-
According to Dr.Serhat Kurt, Education Technology refers to a field in which the
instructional environment is set up in such a manner so that the students are taught about their
subjects in a much better way so that their basic understanding can be enhanced and also the
advanced level of understanding can be developed in them. Thus, basically the focus here is on
ensuring that the use of the advanced methods and techniques can be made so that the
improvements in the teaching and learning can be brought which will be quite helpful in the
future for bringing of the desired level of improvements in this particular field.
Thus, overall it can be said that using Education Technology can be highly helpful in
ensuring that the enhancement in the learning abilities of the students can be made which can
motivate them to concentrate on their studies in a much better manner so that they are able to
attain the specific goals and objectives which are related with Academics (Afolabi and et.al.,
2017).
Using Education Technology can definitely create an impact on the overall learning and
development of the people because its use can help a lot in ensuring that the learning needs and
requirements of the teachers can be understood in the right manner. It will be thus highly helpful
in ensuring that these needs and requirements are fulfilled. It makes use of a wide range of
interactive methods and techniques and thus helps in ensuring that through their use the
development of appropriate skills and competencies in the students can take place. Through the
use of these methods and techniques the students can learn in a better manner and can develop
their understanding (Angeli and et.al., 2017).
Teaching today has become highly revolutionized because of a wide range of
technological advancements which have been brought in it. The use of a wide range of different
types of equipments like Blackboard, Televisions, VCRs, Overhead Projectors etc. can be made
so that the attainment of a higher-level of efficiency and effectiveness can be done in the process
of teaching as well as learning. Thus, these type of equipments are helping in ensuring that the
teaching methodology can be changed in order to suit the wide range of needs and requirements
properly (Domingo and Garganté, 2016).

However, there are certain skills and issues which are required to be addressed by the
teachers. This is so because the teachers have to ensure that they can bring an enhancement in
their overall level of skills and can thus target an improvement in their teaching abilities
effectively and efficiently. This can be helpful in ensuring that the students can be taught in a
right way. There are also various issues in the use of the technology. It is essential that a solution
to these particular issues can be found out which will be helpful in developing the competencies
of the teachers in the right manner (Hew and et.al., 2019).
Thus, it can be said that the use of Education Technology is recommendable in the
present context because nowadays the students prefer to learn by making the use of advanced
methods and techniques. Therefore it becomes quite crucial so that its use can be quite helpful in
helping the teachers to be able to enhance their own skills and abilities. It must be done in such a
manner which will lead towards the attainment of the higher-level of goals and objectives in the
future thereby helping in the attainment of higher-level of efficiency and effectiveness
(Bodsworth and Goodyear, 2017).
Also, it is recommended that the use of Education Technology can be made so that the
students are able to develop own skills and competencies which will help them in understanding
the academic needs and requirements in a much better manner and thus will lead towards
development of professional skills and competencies in them (Desmond and et.al., 2018).
Role of Education Technology in Solving Inequalities-
As per the views of Visakh Madathil, there is a crucial role which is played by
technology in Educational Inequality. This is so because using the wide range of methods and
techniques the Educational Inequality can be reduced which will help in ensuring that Education
can be made more accessible to everyone. Therefore, In this way it can be said that the teachers
should make its use so that the appropriate conclusions and recommendations can be drawn. This
will help in ensuring that the goals and objectives in the short-term, medium-term and long-term
can be attained (Lowenthal, Dunlap and Stitson, 2016).
There are different ways in which Technology creates division. There are many students
in the rural and backward areas who do not have a proper access to good education and therefore
they tend to stay behind the students from urban and metropolitan cities. Thus a particular role
which has to be played by the Government is to ensure that the use of the appropriate methods is
made and therefore the technology is made available to everyone which therefore helps them in
