Introduction
For the given report document evaluation of presentation discussion about the given case
scenario will be taken into consideration. Under the given document evaluation of both choices
for decision-making will be elaborated with the help of using critical problem solving technique.
Furthermore, conclusion will be drawn that will sum up all the findings and provide with a
effective decision for the company (Al-Samarraie and Hurmuzan, 2018).

Discussion over scenario
According to the given case study in which arguments over two decision were being
presented. Several discussions over making the decision over the investment to be made for the
given company was being recognised. In the process being two options whether to invest in
construction of new building for hotel business or to invest £140 million in renovating a 6 floor
old building. The case scenario further heads on profound focus on considering variety of factors
such as state of economy, plan for using space which will signify purpose strategically. Profits
from resources, creation of job opportunities and usage of contingency plan further has to be
organized and reviewed by management stakeholders (Mousavi-Nasab and Sotoudeh-Anvari,
2018).
Critical Problem solving technique
For the given case scenario an effective critical problem solving techniques is being taken
into consideration for arriving at a unanimous decision. In the given scenario technique of
Brainstorming is being taken into consideration. The said technique is an effective process used
for generating innovative ideas that encourages prospective of individuals for quantity over
quality. Under the given practise initiatives are taken place in respect to allowing ideas to build
on each other. Following are the stages involved in the given technique; Preparation of group: In the first step gathering of required stakeholders of the company
are being engaged for developing comfortable meeting environment. In relation to the
given scenario, company directors will be given invitation for showing their valuable
presence in the company meeting. Furthermore, presentation will be displayed for
contrasting to the given situation and various evaluations will be made with respect to 6
hat technique to identify the overall concept of the defined decision-making.

 Presentation of problem: In the following stage, problem on which decisions are to be
passed is being evaluated. For the given context, alternative ways to make investment
will be presented and discussed for possible solutions (Perignat and Katz-Buonincontro,
2019).
 Guiding discussion: In this last stage, members of the meeting come-up with the solution
to the problem. With relation to given scenario, seeking to 6 hat technique analysis and
presenting the evaluation, it can be said that company should opt for investing £140
million in renovating a 6 floor old building (Okes, 2019).
From the analysis of the given problem solving model, it can be said that, investment
over renovating old building with 6 story should be made to incorporate hotel named Luxury
Ltd. Contrasting to used model i.e. 6 hat techniques several discussions were being made. This
created sense of understanding for evaluating on both decision impact which would is predicted
to caused in future working environment of the business firm. Additionally, reflecting to case
scenario it can be said that as the given company by overviewing the market progress post
Brexit. It would be the right choice to invest in old building and then renovating as per
requirements of hotel and seeking to key behaviours of segmented group focused by the business
firm.
Conclusion
From the analysis of given information that reflects to critical decision making for the
given presentation it can be said that, variety of factors are being considered through which
decision making and planning process of a given company is being evaluated. In addition to this,
by use of critical problem solving techniques and taking consideration of previous model
company was able to make decision that would most probably prove to be beneficial for the
given company.
