INTRODUCTION
Critically reflective activity is a process of research including professional attempting to find
and research, the expected which take how it execute. It consistently researches these

Reflexive practitioner storyboard:
Reflection plays a crucial role in evaluating the process of self learning which can enable
individual to analyse its scope of improvements and increase their abilities and skill in
accordance to that only. It is a way where self development might be in charge and in the equal
way effort of a person that can be evaluated where efficient working view can be understood.
With the support of the reflection, I can analyse my own skills so that I can evaluate different
activities which are done by the organisations for their proper functioning and long term
profitability of the business.
I want to be a manager in a large company such as, Tesco or Sains’s bury and to accomplish that
I required to adapt different skills so that I can be able to provide my efforts to the organisational
growth and success. It can also support me in enhancing my career in both professional and
personal way in which my development chances can be uplifted in a proper way. At the time of
my part time job, I have understood that the organisation prefers to follow strict rules and norms
in accordance of the working of their functions at the place so that It cannot create any problem
or inconvenience to the consumers. During the time of implementing my roles I was able to
enhance my communicational skills that assisted me in giving my roles and stimulations in the
site of the organisation in an effective way. A manager of a store needed to have a bigger leading
power so that consumer power of decision making can be enhanced in such a way that the it can
increase the sales revenue of the company. The manager has adopted the leadership style which
is participative style so that every member of the team can be included in the process of decision
making and to evaluate optimistic decisions for later. It would be very supportive in evaluating
safe and healthy cultural way to create happier working place which can be given to the staff.

Apart from this I have understand regarding the way in which consumers can be equally treated.
By applying such ways can lead to consumer loyalty. Though, in this way I have known the
different strategies while working that has enabled my motivation and can be bit supportive for
me in my future growth.
When I was working, I have gained various knowledge about the different skills that are needed
to a manager to enhance its working for the company in efficient and effective way. During my
studies, I gained several skills sets that have supported me in getting better marks in my
examination. These sets of skill are problem solving skills, researching skills, analytical skills
and various other skills. By utilising these skills, it has boosted my personal and professional
development and helped me in getting preference in competition of other candidates. It can be
more supportive to me in managing different types of risk affiliated to the company and that can
make a chance for me in shaping my perspective of future career growth. With the support of this
reflection, I am able to know my place of betterment which I can perform in such a way that help
me in getting my desired job in future. While at job at shop I have evaluated that there were
various activities which are unethical and was operating in the company like use of bag which
are made of plastic and in order to overcome the situation like this various CSR activities are
needed to be performed in the organisation for the longer sustainability. These things are going
to help me in enhancing long term my career growth.
I have collected various knowledge that are linked with the way in which operations are
being organised in the areas of the business. In this way overall objectives and task can be
accomplished and I can get aid in development of my professional and personal career objectives
as well. There are specific skill in which I need to work on to improve them like I need to collect
knowledge regarding the using applications in the computer so that I can perform more
effectively and efficiently in the organisation and I also need to improve my skills in regard to
the aspects of finances. Apart from this communication is the key in which I need to focus and
improve which can help me in growing in my future career.
At the time when I was working as a manager several things happen in which understand
the problems of employees’ conflicts which impacts the functioning of the organisations and its
work life balance because of this they feel problems in working in an effective manner. In this
time that is needed to be managed by the store a manger so that the employees can receive the
higher satisfaction and this satisfaction can optimistically impact their performance in the

organisation and with the support of every employee in decision making better decisions are
made so that optimistic perks can be in terms of increasing efforts in working can be received.
With the support of these discussion in between employees can enhance the overall
communication that can enable the staff into getting their whole involvement in the operations of
the company. Apart from this by using communication skills manager can resolve different
major problems at the organisation to give the proper solution which can be utilised at that same
time to maintain the work life balance and to improve it. Beside from this execution of
convenient working hour operations can be done which can lead to enhancing the overall
effectiveness and efficiency. And with the assistance of it, motivation of employees can be
enhanced and their tenure of retention can be increased. I feel that a manager can manage all the
critical circumstances with the support of using various helpful skills so that issues can be
resolved. I already have given a idea od evaluating timings of working hours which can be
flexible to enhance the productivity of the employees and of the business’s. I have understood
that it is mandatory to evaluate patience which can be a proper answer and multi dimension
thinking can be developed that can help in to giving solutions to the hard problems at that
particular time only that can lead to satisfaction in the employees. By utilising management
skills, a person need to resolve different problems and manage overall employees and operations.
These results are developing a situation for company and employees a which makes them both
happy and satisfied. These are the time that has gave me knowledge about the various things
which can be helpful in the future way to manage organisation and employees in my jobs in
future. It has also provided me the chance to enhance my skills which can help me in my future
to support my juniors and provide them with better solution in a convenient way. I am keen to
get a chance of a job in a organisation which is a multinational as in a post of a manager so these
situations and experience would support me in creating a happy and satisfied career. I have
examined that with the support of critical thinking several issues can be maintained and managed
and a proper solution can be given for these different problems. Personal development plan can
help me in gaining several skills in a particular time.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that for the development in the professional and personal
career growth in an individual personal analysis or self understanding is observed as one of the
best and important technique which can be utilised in determining various skills in a specific way
which can be enhanced and developed. It is observed as a substantial tool that is helpful to a
person to develop and grow itself in its long term career. Developing such skills can give people
an edge over its competitor candidates in their professional life.
