problems faced as a registered nurse,
Engaging patients in decision-making can help you boost your performance because it
is an obligation of a nurse to improve the quality of services delivered to patients in their
daily practice (McCurry & Martins, 2010). The standard three principle builds your
competence because it guides and motivates newly registered nurses on how to offer quality
services to patients. Clinical education is the cornerstone of nursing development. Clinical
education gathers for the needs of both the patients and newly registered nurses in a clinical
setup. The only way to achieve this form of education is by maintaining a close relationship
between a registered nurse and a nursing student. In the learning process, the two groups of
participants benefit mutually (Sedgwick & Harris, 2012).
Registered nurses face a lot of challenges in their profession (NMBA, 2016).
Interactions and consultations between nurses and other healthcare officers reduce the
severity of professional challenges. Moral codes of practice should be clearly identified and
expounded for a better understanding of the tasks assigned to be met by nurses.
