curriculum approaches help in determining the ways to provide education and social values as
well. With the assistance of this practitioner can easily evaluate the specific area of development
of children. Present report is based on different documentation methods and curriculum
approaches in relation to educational theories.
Identify and examine 2 documentation methods and 2 curriculum approaches
Curriculum approaches refers to the way of the developing knowledge of individual in
systematic manner. It is considered as an entire program which guides children to learn every
subject in easy format. It can be said that curriculum approaches plays essential role in the life of
every children as it teaches them in the initial phase of their life. Hence, it is required by the

When children play with toys they learns about the different types of shapes and sizes of toy.
Along with this, while sharing of the toys with other children in school, they learn about basic
essential values which develops them as the positive human being Arthur, Davison and Stow,
(2014)

Learning stories: This type of documents method is also an important for children
development because it focus on the major part of children learning as compare to record detail.

According to theory, there are two ways which can be opted by the parent that is Positive and
negative reinforcement Davis, Ravenscroft, and Bizas, (2015) Positive reinforcement includes
various ways of learning like rewards, appreciation etc. towards the children. Whereas, negative
reinforcement involves punishment. These ways are used by the teachers as well as parents to

on the basis of previous experience which helps them to relate it with the new one and also
develops their interest in new project. Therefore, it helps children to accept new projects and
increases their curiosity into it DePrince and et. al., (2015). As a result, their knowledge can be

understanding their behaviour, practitioner provide them appropriate event as per their
experience so that they can easily improve their learning.

only. As a result, it has been analyzed that it play based curriculum approaches have its positive

Project curriculum approach emphasizes on educating children by assigning them project
related top their course and age. It is required by the individual to guide early age children
appropriately by taking all safety measures for ensuring that children remain safe while
completing the project Feinstein and Kirchgasler, (2015). It has been evaluated that project
approach is the best way to make children learn new educating things which are beneficial for
their career growth. This approach is considered as best way to help child in learning new thing
in interesting manner as project directly develops interest of children and raises many questions
on their mind. In addition to this , children learns various new things while finding their answer
for questions. But, on the other hand, it can be said that this curriculum approach many times
discourages children which results in development of negative attitude in the behavior of

children. As when children do not receive answer of their projects it develops negative feeling
that they can not learn anything. This might demotivate them in taking new projects in the future.
Documentation is play an important role in developing as well as improving learning
activities of the children. Mainly it is used for analysing, collecting and making of information
towards the learning and development. This will also help in reflecting all the aspect of events
and experience of children. In addition of this, it also may contribute in making plans towards the
