• The sustainable development meets the need of the
present without negotiating the capability of future
generations to encounter their own needs.
• The companies are accountable towards environment
as the natural resources are used in the business
activities.

Views of management
• The business chosen Tesla stated views and opinions
of the sustainable development and corporate social
responsibility.
• The company is enhancing its business globally and
becoming more accountable towards the use of the
natural resources.

Sustainability goals
• The sustainable development develop a set of
goals to towards work. The sustainable
objectives should be focused more before
focusing on the sustainability credentials and
success of the business (Charles Jr,
Schmidheiny & Watts, 2017).
• The activities of Tesla have been discussed in
the next slides under the different sustainability
goals.

• Creating solar roofs with effortlessly integrated
battery storage (Erickson, et al. 2016).
• Magnify the electric vehicle product line to address
all several segments.
• Enable car to make money whenever it is not being
used (Kushwaha & Sharma, 2016).

• The company has decided to adopt an evolution to a carbon
neutral economy and the critical requirement for an innovative
sustainable business model for the logistic industry reliant on
the zero emissions.
• The company has even increased energy efficiency and
reduced environmental footprint caused by engines. In other
words, the company has focused on the regulator to produce
something which pollutes less (Dibble, 2018).

• Other than producing less harmful products, the
company focuses on creating higher value for the
customers.
• Tesla focused on the renewable energy in order to
create most fascinating car (Strielkowski &
Chigisheva, 2018).
• It is the goal of the company to lower the cost of the
batteries and make 100% sustainable future possible.

Achievements
• Buying Tesla will surely fund to electric taxis, shuttle and
buses. It will also offer opportunities to the people around the
globe to sustainably pursue happiness (Vovk, 2016).
• Tesla is keep improving its systems to focus on the big picture
by sustainable leadership approach.

Conclusion
• The company is significantly inefficient when
it comes to using raw materials. The 40% of
the purchases raw material is being scrapped.
In order to put this into perspective, Ford’s aim
of releasing waste into the landfill is close to
being reality.
