This report examines the impact of cultural dimensions on HR policies in the international expansion of Atlassian, a technology company. It analyzes the cultural differences between Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia using Hofstede's cultural dimensions framework. The report identifies issues faced by Atlassian due to its failure to adapt HR policies to the Indonesian context, leading to decreased team performance. Recommendations are provided to address these issues, including implementing culturally sensitive training programs and team-based reward schemes.
