business environment equality and diversity promotion is important as it helps organization to
assure learning and understand different perspectives that will help them to enhance their overall
productivity and performance in effective manner. Present report is conducted on the importance
of cultural diversity in promoting equality and diversity in the workplace. It also helps in
identifying the concept of cultural diversity and discuss is potential control diversity strategies
that help in promoting equality and diversity.
Present report is conducted on Sainsbury which is operating its roles and responsibilities
in a retail sector and offers wider range of products and services to consumers. This research will
analyse the quality and diversity importance for this organization through various aspects.

Rationale
The selection of present research topic is rational as it is conducted on the topic of equality and
diversity in workplace which is essential for all organization irrespective of its size scope in
sector. With the help of understanding the importance of cultural diversity organization can
promote equality in diversity and higher growth and profitability (Martin, 2014). This research
will benefit organizations operating in the same sector where Sainsbury is performing in roles
and responsibilities to determine the strategies and embrace cultural diversity which allow them
to attract new employees from different locations around the world and make them to stay for
longer period of time. Present research is also rational as it helps in enhancing the current level
of knowledge and understanding of the researcher on the concept of equality in diversity and
cultural diversity on the same hand and also helps in enhancing the research conducting ability
that will benefit researcher in future.

important in business context as it promotes deep learning confidence and growth preparation for
feature and help organization to encourage innovation productivity new opportunity and problem
solving. In today’s business world cultural diversity is an important practice which helps in

journal article, books etc and will further analyse them by taking use of literature review.
Sampling:
