organisation.
EFFECT OF CULTURAL INFLUENCES IN THE WORKPLACE
Culture is defined to be one of the trait of an organisation and it will personally bring about the
business uniqueness in the ways that are said to be the defining factors. In a business the cultural
aspects will fall in regard to values traditions believes interactions behaviour and attitudes.
Culture will be defined to be positive as well as negative with regard to the implements that are
being taken place by the organisational management (Amankwa and et.al, 2018). A positive
work culture is said to be defined by the talent and workmanship in the organisation whereas the
negative work culture is defined to be the set of practices that will portray all the negative
sentences of management. Everything depends upon how far the leadership is being highlighted
in the organisation and that is what defines the culture.
Effect of culture in a workplace
Culture is said to be one of the predominant aspect in a workplace and it is one of the important
factor that is to be taken care about. The culture will impact the business in the following ways:
Attracts talent: when there are openings with regard to the organisation then people who are
skilled will only approach the organisation to take part as an employee if and only if the culture
in the organisation is said to be an attracting factor for the individual. When culture is standing as
a unique and a predominant factor then obviously the skilled people will prefer entering into the
organisation.
Drives engagement and retention: when there is a harmonious working culture in the
organisation then there will be an interaction between the employees of the organisation which
will portray a good positive and a healthy working culture which is necessary for the
organisation supplement.
Improve satisfaction: in every organisation it is necessary to identify the choices that are to be
made such that the employees of the organisation will get satisfied by the means and approaches
that are derived in the organisation. In this manner when there is a good working culture in the
organisation and the strategies as well as the implementation falls in regard to the employees

benefits then there will be a satisfaction through which the employees can contribute in more
enthusiastic manner (Arditi and et.al, 2017).
Improve performance: the performance that is highlighted in this regard is with respect to the
employees contribution as well as the management implementation. When there is an effective
culture that is being followed by the organisation then the strategies and the means of approach
towards solving problems as well as implementing certain means will be in a more unique sense.
This will also drive factors that will contribute for the growth of the organisation which in
written can gain competitive advantage. The performance of the organisation is entirely based on
how far all the factors as well as the components are aligned properly and have taken care about.
Impact of culture
Cultural impact is said to be one of the predominant factor that is pertaining in organisations.
With respect to culture and its policies there will certainly be a tremendous change that is taken
place in the organisation. Some of them are as follows:
Leadership: culture in the organisation will first determine the leadership traits of the
organisation. It is not until when the leaders properly communicate and interact with the
employees of the team that they will get to understand the perspective that they are to deal with.
This communication is important in order to move ahead with the performance criteria.
Management: with regard to culture the management will inculcate for healthy structure and
procedures that are required to achieve goals (Men and Yue, 2019). The objectives of the
organisation are determined to reach the targets and that can only happen when the culture is of a
strict and a decision supporting one.
