Introduction
The goal of this assignment is to study cultural safety to help the nurse’s in health care
centres to develop a plan to become culturally competent. The assignment will give us brief
information about the particular definition regarding the cultural safety, their goals and
objectives as well, the identified barriers that inhibit the provision of cultural safety and the
communists to prepare an action plan to become a cultural component.
The cultural safety for nurses in health care
In the medical and health sector, in this nursing profession the cultural safety is
concerned to create a healthy environment that is socially, spiritually, physically and emotionally
safety for them. A cultural safety also defines to in position where no assault challenge is taken
in place and is all about shared respect, experiences, and knowledge of a workplace that aims to
learn together with truly listening and dignity of an individual or patients (Scharrer and Coleman,
2019).
The cultural safety of nurses is a concept of care that has a relationship between the
nurses and the people who they do care. The patients who needed nursing and their care mostly
are typically deceived on their cultural safety that merges with the medical and health care unit
authorities.

The cultural safety in the nursing practices is used to focuses on the attitude, skills, and
knowledge to work towards to bring positive and cultural component factors for the patients and
to exercise in respect and compassion (West, Mills, Rowland & Creedy, 2018). The goal of
cultural safety is to continue the education module to help the nurses so that they can develop an
individual’s plan to become culturally component.

According to the research, the studies have investigated that there are many possible
barriers that are linked with the nurse's works their research skills and values. The barriers to
cultural safety have been categorized into various different elements and organizational elements
(Synnot et al., 2018).
2.1. Organizational Factors
In case of organizational or managerial factors or elements, the time constraints are one
of the serious barriers in utilizing cultural ethics. The time to read, implement research, evaluate
and disseminate cultural ethics is cited as one of the major barriers. However, the inadequate
