INTRODUCTION
Culture refers to the background that shapes the behaviour of the individual in the society. This
determines the background of the people that are living in the society. On the other hand,
childhood refers to that face in which the children learn many things and later, this learning has
been applied in order to become adult. Both of these component culture and childhood are the
important aspects of the social science. (Nummenmaa, Lahnakoski and Glerean, 2018). The
social science refers to the study of society by understanding the different aspects that affects the
behaviour, relation and understanding of the people that are living in the society. This concept
helps in the effective understanding of the lives of the people. This report will illustrate the
concept of social science on the context of the chosen topic that is culture and childhood. Along
with this, the report also describes the components that influence the social science.

Social science is the effective way of understanding the social world
The social science refers to the better understanding of the people that are living in the
society. (Feeley, 2017). Social science enables the people to understand all of these aspects that
are leading the people and their lives. The humans have been considered as the biggest element
on which the research can never stops. The human beings are concerned with the large number
of social factors that are leading to create the social world. And this social world decides the role
of the individual in the society. The socialist are doing lot of research in order to develop the
effective understanding of the humans and their lives in the society. The social world refers to
that world under which the interaction and elation has been established between the members
that are living in the society.
There are some people that are highly effective in making interaction with the people and
on the other hand, there are many people that do not make effective relation with the people. And
they do not feel to have any kind of connection with the people. The difference between both
type of people are because of those incidents or factors that has been faced by them in their life.
The concept of social science helps in understanding these factors and along with this, it further
helps in solving the problems that are coming in establishing the effective social world. (Moru
and Qhobela, 2019). Socialist carries large number of research and afterwards, understanding the
different factor of social world they get to know the aspects that are affecting the interaction
